    Pick a stack and stick to it. Then build a (simple) project with real users. You will be further ahead than 90% of your competition.

    1. Don't ask ai to code stuff for you, you learn by writing, understanding and debuging your bad code, not by copy and pasting. Also it's more fun that way

    all this is making me reconsider taking the tech route for that one promised comfy job that may or may not even be guaranteed and pursue my real passion instead. there is only so much time in the world for very few things

    where is logic? If you're focusing on stuff that can get you hired, you will become this 99%. Companies don't need excellent programmers who can solve truly complex and non-trivial problems. Companies need those who can complete routine tasks on time and follow the rules.

    I think learning the languaje (English) is the most difficult part, I can't get cofidence to pass my interview process, please somebody tell me some tips

    Doesn't need to be more complex than todo, but at least unique and good looking. You need to sell yourself. I still think that theme or plugin for cms is great idea portfolio wise. Also real life projects that are easier than to do will be valuable experience. I made website for local allotment. Just html css and js. Loaded on netlify. Good stuff.

      Todo is a good start but shouldn't be the end, you shoul definately enhance it in an iterative fashion to add more skills and try new things, why not intergrate an api or do e2e testing with selenium. Don't just end at a simple todo, but you can certainly start at one

    hmm, AI is coming and is coding better by the day. Self-taught is not the way forward imo! How about visiting an university and getting a solid foundation instead of doing superficial coding? 2 Cents from a MSc CS with 30y+ experience!

    • @adriansuarez752
      @adriansuarez752 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      "Solid foundation". Jesus Christ. Self-taught developers that dedicate enough time to coding are way ahead of people that relay on university. You get to decide what to learn and how, instead of just learning whatever the university teaches you, which in a lot of cases isn't even what the companies are looking for due to how fast the market changes. I mean, thinking university is going to save you from AI is either pure stupidity, or just a joke. 😂 I'm self-taught and I was already working, meanwhile I friend from UK was graduated from an expensive university struggling so hard to find a job.
