Great video! I watched little later down the road since I am dealing with these issues at the moment and answered many of my questions. I will definitely contact ap prep. I am in Toronto I can even drive to their place when needed.
In relation to my last question below; what about the FNSKU's? these will be all new products and Amazon only issues the FNSKU when the product is ready to be shipped to them. So the supplier in China would not have the opportunity to put the actual FNSKUs on the products going to the 3PL (since they would not available at that point).
very helpful blog, I am doing Amazon FBA UK and sourcing from China, I think the key thing of doing FBA is to find professional suppliers and freight forwarder to handle your first leg for your Amazon FBA, like IRFREIGHT, highly recommended.
I have question; assuming the whole shipment is sent to the 3PL then the shipping order with Amazon needs to wait for 3PL to receive it first or close to receiving?
They just dropped my Restock limit by 30%, 3400 -> 2500. I had 1200 inbound, am now about 20% over the limit. I have a new product just landed with 4 variations not able to end in. IPI = 540 is being dragged down by the first product which has slow sales. I need to do some re-ranking to boost sales and fingers crossed we can increase the restock limits.
I love all your videos Dan. However I must disagree on the question on shipping price being the same to ship to a 3PL vs to a home. It depends on if it is a 1/4 pallet or more with some freight companies. If it gets wrapped onto a pallet and you deliver to a home there is usually between $50-$250 “lift-gate fee” added on if you don’t have a loading dock at your home. Especially if they have to put it on a short trailer to get around your neighborhood, look at the higher end of costs. Sometimes it’s an unexpected last mile cost that trashes margins.

Hello Dan Hope you well and Thanks for the video, do you think we can increase the 1000 limit for standard size storage and also instead of Made in China i put Made in PRC think it look better what do you think ? THanks
Having the FBA workers determine whether a customer returned item is "Sellable" or not is the cause of a whole lot of trouble. This has caused "Used sold as New" complaints in my account that has hurt my metric constantly. And we have no option to force ALL returned items to be automatically removed or put into the "UNSELLABLE" bin so they can be removed. That is a policy flaw that causes many sellers to have unnecessary bad metric.
Yes, storage limits are different for professional and individual accounts. Individual selling accounts have a set storage limit of 10 cubic feet; this value does not change. Individual selling accounts are not subject to storage limit increases. Professional selling accounts may or may not have storage limits, depending on various criteria.
CPC = Childrens Product Certificate, your supplier should be able to supply it. Make sure your Legal Entity (LLC or personal name) that you use in Seller Central is the same as on ALL your Paperwork, Commercial Invoice etc Otherwise Amazon will reject the paperwork and it is an uphill battle resubmitting it.
Hi Dan...I would like to join your one dime training session.. teir 2 training program.. just wondering whether I can make the payment in two times please
Very useful content thank you very much. At mean time I would like to ask someone's help on this; I have created my product listing with variations on my Amazon seller central. Filling everything properly including product price, sizes and colors. However on Amazon Buyers Page, the price, sizes and colors of my product are not visible to customers. May anyone help and tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks 🙏...
Hey Dan first of all you're amazing and giving us gems every time you upload for which I'm very grateful. My question is or request is to make a video or please explain me how to sell in grocery category in USA I'm from India and I am currently selling and doing okay but I have amazing products which have good demand in USA in grocery category and my products have also great shelf life because they are spices and herbs which don't get easily bad and that is why I'm trying to sell them. My question is what are the requirements and process do I need to follow to build a brand from ground up I mean I know how Amazon works but I don't know about the grocery category so can you please explain it to me what documents do I need to obtain so that I can sell them.
100% Danny, I agree, but sometimes either you will soon incur long term storage fees at Amazon and it's best to remove it to a 3PL OR you might have inventory restrictions and can't send so much to AMZ but still want to place the same size reorder with a supplier and send to a 3PL near Amazon.
@@DanRodgers Hi Dan, can you help please? My IPI score is increasing but my restock limit isn’t! Don’t they go hand in hand? I’ve mentioned it to seller support but they just email me the “how restock limits work” information 😩

Hi Dan. What are the restock limits for different size categories for a brand new seller who does not have any product launched yet?
Thanks for this!

Wow Kris, you are correct, I totally forgot about that! Thank you for sharing :)
Thank you Dan & Eric for great info but unfortunately as sellers we all have to adopt they way Amazon choose to deal the best for Amazon.

hi dan, a question about packaging, if my product has small parts, but not in the toys and games category, does it require a choking hazard label?

Excellent video, very informative. I signed up with Apprep based on your recommendation. Plus I like Eric from what I see. Thank you
We are looking forward to working with you!
I wanted to ask if storage limi is difficult for professional sellers and individual sellers?

Which port do you suggest to ship into for your 3PL?
Let your supplier or your freight forwarder determine what port would be best.

Can anyone recommend a similar 3PL in the UK?

@@DanRodgers Thank you Dan. Do you have personal experience with any of them?
I don’t see why anyone would pay 3PL to be an extra cog in the process! Ship to FBA yourself then that’s one less outgoing cost

nice passive advertisement here... smh
AP PREP did not pay to be on the channel and I am not an affiliate of AP PREP but they do offer a good solution for those with storage limits 😁
