Nope it doesn't at all. I had this problem as well while choosing SE as mu degree, but it doesn't matter
maine suna hai universities me bas ratta chalta hai skill nahi sekhate ye sach ha kya?
University is never meant to teach you skills. They just provide the pathway and teach you basics. You have to learn advance level skills on your own.
