Flute maestro Mali (T.R. Mahalingam) had once written, in the form of a letter to his disciple, about the 16 good qualities that a person should possess. After listing these qualities, he ended the letter abruptly stating, “you are that true human being, for all these qualities are encompassed in you”. Coming from Mali, this praise was lavish. The disciple, who received such encomiums, was flute vidwan T.S. Sankaran (TSS).. And Mr J.A.Jayant is the grandson of Vidwan Sankaran.
Like grandfather like grandson !
