U also would have seen alot more of his game had Duke performed better on the defensive end of the floor! Their inconsistent team defense is what did them in, as it's done in the last four NCAA'S! Defense can majority of the time lead to offense which means you'd have seen more of Zion in the open court like with his insane bounce pass against FSU

Let's me real RJ was the reason they didn't make the final 4. Same reason they lost to Gonzaga in the Maui invitational in the beginning of the year. He's was jealous of all the hype Zion had been getting and wanted to be the man. He took horrible shots and refused to give the ball over to anyone in the final seconds.

Want to know why Duke lost to MSU? Or had trouble with UCF? Because we went away from Zion for long stretches. RJ was (is!) such a talented player, but his tendency to try to take over games and be the 'alpha' on that team cost us in the end. Zion needed touches EVERY time down the court.

I think folks saying zion is instant nba superstar are over hyped. Very athletic guy theres no doubt. Solid blocking. But in 12+ minutes on this highlight video he is shown attempting/making 4 total shots that were outside layup/dunk range. Thats a big whole in his game. I think he will be a solid player but not a superstar. If he can develop a decent midrange game then he will be dangerous. But i think people are over hyping the dunks. Because thats pretty much his entire offensive game. And this is college. He will have much bigger competition at the rim in the,nba.

If RJ Barret's shot selection would of been better and cam reddish would of been more aggressive Duke could of won it all that season,the other Achilles heel for Duke was really poor free throw shooting. We found out The following season that Justin Robinson David Robinson son should have been playing all along he broke out towards the end of the coven season the following here he was the scout team player his whole career at Duke, he should have been playing when Zion was on the court he brought experience just a high IQ on the basketball court. His dad said it best The following season I always knew he could play a good Coach k just never gave him playing time he was the missing piece on that Zion Williamson team

It one thing to hate Duke. But hate on this guy. Man I've never seen a player like him. Larry Johnson comes to mind. But he did things I hope people appreciate. I also hope the NBA cuts out players like these from going to college anymore. What a corrupt association.
Never seen a player like him? Yes, he had incredible leaping ability and dunks but his ball handling is awful as he constantly tries to drive and needs to regroup as he fumbles the ball around and his shot outside about 5 feet is lousy. But hey, the media sure built him up and some weak minded fools that can't think for themselves bought it.
