Like him, she was caught off guard, too. He mistakenly took the law into his own hands without any regard for his victim's life. What a poor judge of character, too! 🤔 Unfortunately, that 81 year old man is guilty of at least manslaughter if not murder. He didn't lose any money, she had no weapon, was backing off yet he still intentionally shot to kill. Also, the police officer wasn't thinking. She should have pretended to go along with the scheme, get the package delivery address and go there with backup to arrest those a-hole scammers.

At 81 years of age, even if he gets life in prison, it’ll be only for a short while, unless he gets to live to a 126 years old, then he’ll serve a full life sentence, but I highly doubt he will live that long.

I feel strongly that the jury should be SEQUESTERED as close to the moment they're chosen as possible, for protection (theirs, their families', and justice's).
I don't think Trump should have access to their names, and that zero identifying info should be allowed to be shared, published, depicted 8n court artists' renditions, Etc..
This unprecedented case with unprecedented defendant's behavior pattern warrants unprecedented measures to preserve the sanctity of this crucial proceeding.
Also, these days, folks could geo-tag cars to learn home addresses!
Jurors shouldn't have to search their cars for tracking tech before driving home to their families!
These jurors need exceptional anonymity (ideally, beyond a potential Trump Presidency) as well as extreme protections!!!!
Re Trump:
I believe that accountability for contempt during this trial (where case pre-dated Biden & isn't involving Jan 6) will make it easier for Judges overseeing more controversial trials to protect their staff and the witnesses. If MAGA fans gather to protest Trump being temporarily jailed for contempt, I believe there will be fewer attendees and less violence in this case, which could demonstrate that Trump isn't above the law while minimizing civilian harm.
Most defendants who violate criminal gag orders aren't reaching millions of people knowing how easily incited to bad acts they are! Merchon must take this into account, at least for frequent rapid follow up.

The murder of the Uber driver is beyond tragic. That guy had no business outside of his home with a gun pointed at a woman. The police are a phone call away. May she rest in great peace. Uber has a lot of danger surrounding their history. All Uber cars should send insight and or sound to monitors at all times. Ai can detects crashes and emergencies and can hear screams or distress in car and phones already.

What a shitty case. Old man was getting duked and ended up killing that poor lady. They need to find whoever set them both up and charge them with murder. The FCC and Congress need to get together and get some laws on the books to eliminate phone and internet scammers in this country, especially after this incident.

IF YOU ARE AN UBER DRIVER: Pls don’t do package deliveries. Most of them are requested by scammers/drug dealers/ illegal things etc. I have done 5 deliveries and I had a feeling there was something illegal inside the taped box 📦
