Great question and video! We collect primarily to PLAY the games, and secondly, to preserve a piece of history. Collecting what we want to play is important to us, not to buy stuff to look good on a shelf and put it on Instagram (although it's obviously nice to display our games in the game room). We play and collect for all consoles so there's no war in our household :) Even PC is represented.
Also, we'll definitely be checking out Cat Quest III !

I appreciate you checking out one of my community Question videos. Thanks for participating and answering the question. It's definitely good to collect the games that you truly want to play and enjoy over just buying games for the sake of buying them. It does preserve a piece of history when you keep these games in your collection. These games do look good on the shelf, but I prefer to have them so I can play them. I understand why you don't want to buy games just to show off to strangers on the Internet. That's the fastest way to end up going broke, and having shelves filled with unwanted stuff. I look forward to Cat Quest 3 coming out and I plan to buy it later in the year. I look forward to checking out your channel and videos soon. Take care and be well this week.

Hey Sleepy I’m really happy I subscribed to your channel all those years ago because you’re always putting out quality videos and having some great discussions. You really are a gamers/collectors TH-camr. Great to see your game collection too at the end of the video

I appreciate you subscribing to my channel. I'm glad to hear that you've been enjoying my videos. I always enjoy uploading having great discussions about gaming with everyone. I wanted to give everyone a little teaser look at the game room, as I've had a lot of requests for an updated Room tour video. I will be filming that video in the future. Thanks for checking out my latest discussion vlog.

My collection means everything to me after my family that is. My family tells me my collection means too much to me which causes a lot of jokes around the house like what would I save in a fire first them or my games lol. They know I would choose them, but I could hold a few games on the way out ensuring they are safe lol. Love the videos sleepy! They get me thinking about my collection!

A lot of people who don't have video game collections, or really any kind of collections; sometimes do judge those of us who do own them. I've known a few friends who's families thought that having a collection was an odd and silly thing, but these same people had rooms dedicated, and decked out with a collection of their favorite Football and Baseball teams decor. We're talking posters, Signed Footballs, shot-glasses, sports cards, books etc. They didn't want to admit that they had a "collection" of Baseball and Football merchandise lol.
There's definitely nothing wrong with having a collection, as long as it doesn't interfere with the important aspects of your life. I agree with you that Family is always the most important thing over our collections. I would hate to think about losing my collection to a fire but there are just a few items I would grab in an event if I was able to.
I really appreciate you checking out my new community question, and for participating. I'm happy that you enjoyed this video and question.

My current video game collection is the first actual collection I've kept which is awesome. You see i had lots of different collections growing up but my dad gave away all my stuff twice. It was at that point i stopped caring about stuff even if i enjoyed it. For years i owned very little because what's the point? As i got older i've been able to shed that attitude and the past. Video games are something i enjoy so my collection is an extension of that.

I'm glad that you're able to really enjoy your current collection. That's terrible to hear that you father gave away your previous collections. I can definitely understand that you weren't really attached to the stuff that you owned. I'm lucky that my parents were never big into getting rid of my brother's or my stuff when were kids. Overcoming that attitude is good, and it will help you appreciate the stuff that you do have. I do enjoy playing my video games, and I love having a video game collection. Thank you so much Joel for participating and answering my new community question. I appreciate you stopping by the channel again bro.

Going to film a response this weekend. Have you played the Boltgun dlc yet? The reason I ask is I was wondering if it was worth getting.

I really appreciate all of the Video Responses that you've filmed for my Community Question series. You've definitely filmed the most video responses of all of my subscribers. I look forward to checking out your video and hearing your thoughts and answer to this question. I haven't played the Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun DLC yet this year as I've pretty much only been playing Xbox 360 games the past several months. I do plan to buy the Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun DLC this year and I will share my thoughts about it in one of my weekly gaming playlist series. Thanks again for all of your support of my channel Nick. I always look forward to reading your wonderful comments each video.

Hey Sleepy, Two days ago I ordered WWE 2K23 and WWE 2K24 both for PS4, I already have them for PS5 but I don't feel like getting a PS5 for 4 Games at least for now but if WWE 2K25 comes for next consoles and PC then I might get a PS5. Next month I will Tomb Raider Collection for PS4 and it will be the last Game I will get this year, if there's another Game I really want to play then I will Download it for PC, I need to save money for my Future.

Hello Miguel my friend. I hope you enjoy playing WWE 2K23 and WWE 2K24 on your PlayStation 4. I'm in a similar boat when it comes to the PlayStation 5. I would only buy maybe 3 or 4 games for the PlayStation 5. I can't find that many games that really interest me that are exclusive to the PlayStation 5. I personally can not justify spending the money on a PlayStation 5 console for just a small handful of games. It would be a major waste of money and the PlayStation 5 would more than likely just sit collecting dust for a long time. That Tomb Raider collection should be great on the PlayStation 4. I don't blame you slowing down on the pickups for the rest of the year. You definitely don't want to go broke over buying games. Thanks for checking out my new community question bro.

@@AsianSleepy Hey Sleepy, I'm loving playing both WWE 2K23 and WWE 2K24 but I hate when I have to install huge Updates, that's why I still play on PS2 and PS3 and that's the main reason I bought a new Gaming PC last year. Tomb Raider Collection is the last Game I will get for PS4 unless WWE 2K25 comes to PS4 as well but for some reason I don't have my hopes up, if not, then I will Download it for PC. I don't know how much the PS5's cost in the U.S. but here in my Country they cost around 549 Euros which is too much specially when you only want to play 2 a 3 Games.
