No one can sing the blues-rock better than paul rodgers, and jeff beck is a magician who used a guitar to do magic whenever he play blues, jazz, fusion or rock, great stuff, thanks
Paul Rodger's has always dabbled with the blues but this album has proved to me that Paul can sing blues! The killer guitarist he hooked himself with, Gary Moore, Jeff Beck etc... how can this album go wrong. We can always play this album forever!
Dabbled? Ever listened to Free? For starters, try "Goin' Down Slow." Or "Fire and Water." They were a blues band. Progressive blues sometime, but blues.
At least people like PAUL RODGERS,THE ROLLING STONES and the late JEFF BECK acknowledged that the blues came from talented black people like MUDDY WATERS,WILLIE DIXON,CHUCK BERRY,LITTLE RICHARD,FATS DOMINO and BO DIDDLEY.Jann Wenner is a complete ignorant bastard.
Amazing, amazing!!! Jeff Beck is on another level always, but i still cannot believe and describe how much i like his quitar sound!!! He leaves us speechless!!
Monstrueux cet album et ce morceau en général ça cogne de chez ça cogne les guitars heros sont quasi tous présent dans cet LP et ont contribués à faire des solos d'enfer!
Now were hitting it two of the world's greatest. Jeff has never not rocked n along comes Paul n it's magic. Been years since I've heard pure clean rock n roll.
give me some SNARE! listening to Paul I don't believe any other singer is worth listening to...he owns and takes over...sounds like nobody else...soul drips from his chords...
+Brooke Kelsey Not only do I have the disc, I saw the touring band for this album at The Paradise, in Boston. Drums - Chuck Ruff; Bass - Roscoe Beck; Guitar - Neil Schon; and Rodgers on vocals and some guitar, too. Great, great show. What a voice. And what great playing from the band. Neil Schon was really nailing it.
Holy crap - look at the list of guitarsists on here! This is a must have! This is sure a far cry from the Foghat version; this is dirty, nasty, gritty - for adults only. Beck kills as always and Rodgers, well, this is NOT Bad Co. - or Queen. Amazing.
Get in my mind. Opened all the windows. Filled it with the sweet smells of spring. Decorated it with quiet summer pictures. Take it by the hand and walked into quiet streets. I am tired. I surrender. Hold me. Take away from it what plagues me. Remove what hurts me. Do it for me. Do it as a favor. Love me if you can. If you want. My eyes closed. Come to my pillow and conquered me. I would not resist. If you like, I can promise whatever you want. Unconditional surrender. I will do.
Good gosh-a-mighty, what a voice! My headphones just melted. Life long love and respect for Paul Rodgers. ❤ And killer guitar from Jeff Beck 😮.
