Just a personal opinion, but I think you should've talked about the Knights of the Griffon. Yeah, they aren't really a factional order of Pendor, but they're the Knighthood Order that works best thematically for the Kingdom of Pendor.
As a big PoP fan I really enjoyed this video series! Some suggestions for future videos if you feel like continuing this series: - Mercenary troop overview: Are any of them worth the cost? Which ones are good, which ones are not so good? Do they combo well with a particular faction? - Troop trees of various minor factions: How to deal with them? What are their strengths and weaknesses? What are the best army compositions to take against them? - Best strategies / units vs the noldor, and how to beat them Been enjoying your content. Keep up the good work!
I started a new game solely to make my own kingdom to bring back the Pendor faction! Thought it would be so cool, like some mythical, noble Atlantis race. Turns out... being "Balanced" means you're constantly outclassed by other factions whenever you go against their strengths. Not only do your lords armies made up of Pendor troops under preform, but they look sooooo ugly. They look like the "Militia" faction of the game. So the entire point for this faction to exist seems to be to provide Pendor Nobles for all your knighthood orders but... some of the best knights are in game faction specific. So again, you're stuck being versatile but not amazing.
I actually completely agree with you, being balanced doesn't always mean being good. and the fact that 90% of the army is equipped with Heraldic armor just kills it for me, I like some heraldic armor like the one with the small pauldrons that the knights use but I absolutely hate every single other one which is why I use morgh's editor to change them to other generic looking armors that at least gives them some identities of their own. I know these videos make me sound like a completionist but I'm actually much more of a role player with a code for each character I play so I always dress the part depending on which faction I represent and the looks of the Pendor units doesn't help so I always tend to go for other factions cultures (I still consider it the Pendorian kingdom as I let all other lords use their own units which in roleplay am uniting all the people of Pendor back together again like the old kingdom)
@@ekathe17th2 I don't know how to use the editor (Havent tried lol) but I do know I'm going to start using Nobles A LOT more now, since they seem to be the whole point of Pendor.
@@ekathe17th2 please help, i use morghs to edit troops for prophesy of pendor but nothing changed in the game. I've tried start a new a game and even reinstall but nothing works, can you help me?
@@muhammadfaisalfachrurrozy1203 I would love to help you but I can’t, it’s been at least a full year since I have used morghs editor and I have since lost all knowledge of it
Pendor bladesmen infuriate me. They are good... but not great (watch in the video where they suffer several casualties to war priests, a mid/high tier CAPTURE unit) and they take a shocking amount of effort to level up. Even when everything is going right, you will most likely have infantry lines made up with 3/4th Pendor Men at Arms with only some Bladesmen. You have to make a conscious effort to collect and horde these guys to see fat stacks of them on the battlefield, which is bizarre that I can do the same with Mercenary Sergeants but easier and more effectively!
btw I have been wondering if in my recent videos if my voice was way too low or way too high compared to the background music and game sounds? or is it okay as it is?
@@ekathe17th2 The all around volume seems to be louder and the music is a bit overpowering. Not enough that I noticed in my first watch though, so I don't know if I'd bother editing the video just to balance it *shrug* Its only when I compared to other videos.
Pendor is mostly Nobles Their Foot Knights are great, Their Knights are somewhat good, And the Archers are good And You can upgrade them to Knighthood orders troops, so there is that
From Noblemens. After having/becoming a Rogue King, build some shrines in cities, towns or villages and reputation and every week you will have Nobles join you. These nobles you can be converted to Noblemen to Castles and Towns with training grounds (which you build yourself also) and depending on your culture you can level up Noblemen to knights and elite units of the culture faction you chose.
The most viable strategy for Pendor troops without relying on elite troops is quantity rather than quality. Spamming Pendor Mtd. Man at Arms (not Bladesman coz that unit is trained like a fcking Hero Adventurer but not being in par with abilities also I personally think this is a better unit than Pendor Heavy Spearman and Man at Arms) and Pendor Armored Bowman and making enemies face like 2-to-1 or 5-to-1 situation. What could I say, Pendor troops is outdated and not as polished like the new kingdoms still love to play as Pendor culture tho it adds to the realism of the playthrough

They are meant to be the factional order of Pendor they even come with dialogue about the kingdom if you found them just like other factional orders.
I've played POP before, and I started playing it again,so this stuff is still really helpful after 2 years.
