I love Manson to death but it's important to acknowledge that LHROH is a mostly fictional tale used as a marketing plot to sell the hardcore image. Celebrities who are mentioned in the book have come out to say that much of the book also fabricated. Seriously, Neil Strauss writes fiction, and has also ghostwritten for others to a similar degree. It's a smart move to distance himself from the book or finally reveal that it was mostly to sell albums. One of the accusers is citing events from said book as fact. Specifically the alleged abuse from Manson to his own mother, which is categorically false Manson loves his mom and dad, may they rest in peace.
That's not to say ALL events are fictional, but much of the outlandish things he supposedly did as an adult in the lead up to that book is the main focus. That's not to call into question the events of childhood which Manson most certainly had a hand in writing himself or giving these events to Neil to record.
I'm assuming this is about the so-called accusations that really messed up his musical livelihood and were baseless. This makes so much sense. He's off drugs, he's gotten into fitness and weight lifting, and man does it show! WOW! It reminds me of APC's Judith, who have the same vibe. 100 percent ace, wonderful job! Just wow, more than bounced back. He's dare I say risen above the hate, and now is drugfree to be who he is. YES! I'm here for it.
I missed MM real bad, I missed his creativity and entertainment and now he has just declared war...we all remember Holywood? we are in for a hell of a ride. I am giving all MM reactions a thumbs up and a comment if I have the time.

manson is 3 years sober now has slimmed down grew his hair out a lil longer looks healthier than he has in yeeears and looks pretty much exactly the same as he did during the holywood golden age of grotesque era. his vocals sound better than they have in yeeears.
The effect is a synthesizer, a staple in “Goth” style music. Bro he has another single he released just before this one called “As Sick as the Secrets Within”. It’s a more slower sounding song. He’s 110% back.
This rocks! I knew of Marilyn Manson when I worked with many bands in Florida in the late 80s/early 90s. MM & The Spooky Kids opened for a lot of shows for bands I was familiar with, but it wasn't until I moved to New Orleans in the mid 90s that I actually hung out with Marilyn (and Twiggy). The band lived there for about a year while working with Trent Reznor (NIN) on the Antichrist Superstar album (still one of my favorites). This and the other new song totally fit that era of Manson (Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, Holywood)! And it is also cool to see a female in the band in the form of Reba Meyers! I just watched a full show fancam video from the current tour and Reba rocks!
There is a b-side to this called Front Toward Enemy, if you can, definitely check it out, it isn't on the album for some reason, I could email you the song since I bought the limited CD with it and could react to the audio, I'd put it third best out of the 10 songs.
