That’s Rachel Goswell of slowdive ! She is an awesome singer , dream pop and shoegaze has a ton of this awesome music I first heard this kind of stuff in the early 90s when there were so much awesome music being put out for everyone ! Too bad music has stunk it up in the 21st century though !

@Theodore Kaczynski Yeah Hope Sandoval most notably of Mazzy Star , she is of the Shoegaze genre and her voice is just so awesome and calm , I just love her singing style there's not many that sounds like her either try listening to Mazzy Star , fade into you is a good song to listen to if you're not familiar with them and also the band Opal where she's the singer in there ! Another woman that I absolutely adore is Johnette Napolitano of the band Concrete Blonde they have a great song called Joey it's a good place to start with !
So do I. I tried listening to their albums because this came up in my Mazzy Star playlist and I fell in love but the band without her singing… kinda sucks in my opinion.
Ironically I've never heard this song on the radio, but I'm not surprised, it's too good for the radio, hah!

Rachel Goswel can do anything. She has the most glorious voice. Her time in slowdive produced some of the most moving and beautiful music I've ever heard. This is no different
she has no voice at all. sounds like an 8th grader on talent night.

The other night I was lying in bed, thinking about someone I have a crush on. I had a dreamy music playlist on and this song came on. I immediately fell in love with it. It is absolutely beautiful. I don't think I could have discovered it in a more perfect way lol
No matter what, the connection in between Rachel Goswell and Neil Hasteald goes beyond the material world and will be eternal / timeless. They should know about it.

this song and “tomorrows taken” by Mojave 3 are absolutely angelic. They capture feelings and have a melancholy, nostalgic feel to them.
This is one of those songs that made me stop in my tracks, put down what I was doing just to fully engage myself with the dreamy sounds. This song had my FULL attention.
They should’ve called this song “Soundtrack to a Dream”
I really love Slowdive but Mojave 3 songs are more deep and covered with strange feelings. And they seem more connected in the sound, I'd say their work here is better

I discovered this song the day i properly talked to my very recent ex who is my first love. Was my last first day of school, my senior year which as of rn just ended a few weeks ago, and i teased him how he wasnt moving in the lunch line by asking him "are you in line?" As i talked more to him and eventually started dating him this song had become more meaningful to me and our connection from my point of view. But now its all over, and im never going to be able to listen to this beautiful song without crying. Idek why im making this comment, maybe to vent or so when he listens to this song and maybe browse the comments he can see this idk. All i know is that i feel like our story will never be over despite the fact that i know it is. This is def cringe but as one of my favorite teachers said, "to be cringe is to be free" so its what ebs

Mojave 3 is basically Folk Slowdive, which of course is as gorgeous as it sounds
Yeah! And not just Rachel, but Neil is also present here (Slowdive's primary songwriter who also shared the vocals with Rachel), and one of the other members too, so this band is almost Slowdive in all but name and genre
We were too poor to afford cable but, we would get this channel that came in fuzzy and it would be have public version of an MTV. And, I remember this song.
