I was living in Japan during the earthquake/tsunami that this song commemorates. It was pretty hectic. Luckily I was away from the tsunami, but I still definitely felt the earthquake (and the tons of aftershocks). I remember the day as clearly as I remember 9/11.
This song is about the Great Tohoku Earthquake, which caused the loss of many buildings and residences in the tsunami caused by the earthquake that occurred in the Tohoku region of Japan on March 11, 2011, and killed nearly 20,000 people including many missing people. It was written and composed by vocalist Taka in hopes of reconstruction. One of the features of this band's songs is that many of them have such a theme!
The fact is Taka (vocalist) is son of a popular enka singer and composer in Japan (his dad) and his mother is a popular idol, enka singer and actress so that’s why he has a great vocal and some of his voice fit with a country song. Btw I love your reaction about them because you don’t just sit down and watching them but you enjoy with the show and let us know your opinion in every time the show has finish, thank you so much.
you should definitely check out Nobody's Home Live, the video by Diana May Remo, if you like hearing him sing from the soul/heart, he actually cries or gets choked up during the performance, the song means a lot to him and read along with the lyrics for that one too! Loved the video :)

Taka is such a versatile singer. He can sing post hardcore, pop, punk, country. You should check out his cover of Adele's HELLO. Thank you once again.
