Hey, you forgot to tell us that Blue hurt himself..last September! I am thrilled you posted this for us too. Just a few questions, was he stalled for the whole time and did you do anything else besides this and ice? I love that you got him back up and going so quickly and he'a not had any issues since. Thank you!

Hi Lydia! Always so much going on here I can barely keep up myself! Lovey was just seen by the vet this am. Looks like she pulled her Gluteus medius, above her hip last week. I couldn't get my one vet who is a chiro here until today. I gave her bannamine the day I saw the muscle tear (it's huge) and did energy work twice on it, 2 days in a row. It's much better and the weird (blessing) thing is she isn't lame. Thank God🙏
Back to Blue. No, I did not stall him however I did keep him in the paddock for a few days and iced him 3x a day, 45 minutes each time, for 3 days. While the ice helped, he was dead lame each am. I did my energy work first then ice throughout the day. By day 5 he was good to go.
I can't give him too many drugs for inflammation either because of his bone infection when he was a yearling. The meds destroyed the gut for a while. It's better now. I did what I could to rebuild it, but I don't use bannamine unless I asbolutely have to with him. So, yes, I gave him 8cc of Bannamine when he first pulled the tendon.
Statistics (research and evidence-based science) show that pulled muscles take months to heal if they ever do. Heat & cold help as well as any therapy that stimulates circulation, nerve and tissue repair, which is what our energy can do. It works the same as light therapy, sonar therapy, BEMER therapy etc. That's if you can get enough heat built up in your palms and then use the energy like a gas stove, turning it up, holding it and turning it down low.

Obviously it hurt him to turn to the left, but you forced him to turn…whoa 😮
