My personal favorites are 3-4-1-2 or 3-5-2. Also depending on my players at the time but I also use 4-5-1 and 4-2-3-1 Wide if I need 4 at the back

Try 4-2-2-2 its the most balanced formation
As you get 2 forwards to assist each others play 2 box to box Cdm and to CAM to pressure from the eings or to cut inside the box
Also the CDM and wide defenders synergize very well as they can easy switch their position depending on the type of player your opponent is
