    Wonderful video,
    Acceptance is way towards inner peace!!!
    Perspective shifts are huge,
    it's our perspective of things, that causes us chronically anxious

    Thank you so much I’ve had ocd for on and off for years and am only 16 and it has come back intensely recently in a different form but you have really changed my perspective and changed my mindset.

    100% agree. Same gad or health anxiety. This concept is absolutely key.

    Been advising my clients to accept worst case scenario for a few years now just from intuition. Freaked out today: "what if its wrong" (not accepting at all:.) Thankful I found this video:)

    How do you accept the possibility of nuclear war and the possibility that most of us might die . How can rebt help us in these unstable times ? Would the active work be accepting death ?

    • @OCDRecovery
      @OCDRecovery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes “death” is usually at core here, I will be doing an in detail video around war anxiety.

    What is the meaning of life when you have CANCER??

    • @Bilal-tm8pq
      @Bilal-tm8pq ปีที่แล้ว

      The meaning of life is what you want it to be, if you have cancer then it is what it is, everyone dies sooner or later, tomorrow or after 100 years everyone in this generation will be dead, just have a good time on this earth some people have long life times and some die at birth.

      I don't have an answer to this but the OCD I'm suffering from has caused me at times to wish I had a terminal disease just so I can get relief from it and yet at the same time I don't think of the finality of life in that wish. I'm very conflicted with life overall! It's like a damned if you do damned if you don't situation😮‍💨

      @@OCDRecovery i have now watched fully ur video. U can see the brightest things through our sufferings. 👌👌❤️❤️. But again i really dont understand that : what if i steal something. The worst case scenario is i will be beaten up and will be called a thief. Thats ok.

      Accepting something doesn't make it okay. If you have done something wrong you have to accept the fact that you can't change it. You can learn from it and better yourself. You can't change something that has already happened. You can accept it and learn from it and live according to your values
