- Today let's dive into diamond painting trays! We all collect diamond art accessories and tools and I've collected quite a few trays over the past few years, I'll show you most of my collection and at the end I'll show you my favorite/perfect diamond painting tray!

Thanks Beverley! I got my first Firefly trays a few months ago and they immediately became my absolute favorite tray of all time. I love the funnel closure and the depth. The Inferno Nano and the Inferno Mini are my faves and I use them daily.

I'm always searching for the perfect tray for me. I think it would take a combination of several brands. One of my first requirements would be for the drills to not get stuck in the lanes--my pet peeve! Maybe it's not possible bc of the different sizes of drills. When I empty the tray, I would like the drills to flow out smoothly without getting stuck. Many times it's the outside lanes that drills get stuck in. If you know of a tray that can do this, please let me know. I like high sides so drills don't go overboard when I shake the tray to get drills to line up. I do like a lid bc 1) if the drills do get stuck, I can put the lid on & shake which releases the drills many times & 2) if I walk away from dping for a bit, I put the lid on my tray & it's safe from being knocked over by my cats or from myself. I like a pouring spout/funnel with a stopper. Jamie at Bella Art de Nicole is creating one now that has a "gate" that will keep the drills from spilling out of the stopper. I can't say enough about Bella Art de Nicole's many great creations. I'm undecided about the need of having a "step up" or "pool" at the back of trays (many put washi tape there). I'm unsure if it really makes a difference in getting the drills the line up smoothly as claimed. What to you think?
I would definitely recommend Firefly Trays, the walls are high and drills don't get stuck in the grooves. I especially love that the funnel stopper is built in so you don't have to worry about the drills escaping through the pour out hole thing and you don't have to worry about losing the funnel stopper either! Once I got my Firefly trays I never felt the need to try/buy any more!
What a fun collection of trays! I have a few favorite tray companies but honestly my absolute favorite and my go to tray is the Bella Art de Nicole 3 Divider Tray! I really love my Bijou Bliss and CatProof trays as well!

I think I have a tray from Oraloa but I found it too shallow
The regular Inferno is just the Ignite with a hole for a diamond painting pen.

My favorite are the ones made by AddMoreZest because the shape and sizes offered. I do have a firefly tray, from jingle drills. It’s very nice. It’s the Inferno model.

Yay! Firefly!!! They are my favorite tray too. I have bought many other brands to try but when I found firyfly I found MY tray. I have 4. Two black and two white. 2 small and two large.

I don’t own a Firefly yet. I love Nyx’s Notion, the hight of the walls work for me.
I also love the Essential trays from Bella Art. They don’t have a lid which I don’t really use and they aren’t expensive.

I have quite a few different trays but my go to shop is Bella Art.
I love my Crystal Trays! She recently said she was opening back up but not sure what happened again. I hope she does soon!
Otherwise I love my trays from Firefly too!
