  • Childhood encounters with Civil War and graveyard spirits, an NDE at five years old, and even a bizarre encounter with the Rev. Jim Jones, helped prepare David for a terrible tragedy with his own children, and his turn to an amazing hospice career.
David Parker is this week's guest

Dear Lee and David , this was so healing. I used be terrified of having children, because of the possibility of loosing them but now I realise that, they are going through their journey, here or there! Unbelievable:)

Some go before we do, we go before others, that's it, that's the two options. The death of my boys, after scraping the paint off the window moved me into becoming a Hospice nurse. I couldn't provide comfort for my boys in their deaths but could for others. We can't always choose the situation but we can choose our attitude and where we place our attention. Glad you enjoyed the interview.

I recently watched an interview with Ted Bundy's cousin. She said that she saw Ted's eyes turn black on one occasion, he also looked very sinister. She said something to Ted, like "Are you okay"? And he shook it off and snapped out of it. I thought of this when David was talking about Jim Jones.

Quick question: did anyone else hear the strange sound at the end of David talking about Lee? It sounded like someone hitting a metal traffic sign. Is that in the original recording? Is there a way to tell if it came from David’s side or from (our) Lee’s side?

8:32 are the soldiers still walking? If not, when did they stop? and why? did they finally pass through and make it home?
