Wow! With a 27 million dollar budget not including marketing this will easily be a studio right off. It did such poor box office numbers that it is hidden or deemed N/A. I've never seen anything like this.
7 million USD equals almost 40 million today. It´s sure a great biographic movie, I think like most biopics it's gonna do well over time on stream. Great clip and a nice channel!
Kiss is regarded as one of the most influential rock bands of all time, as well as one of the best selling bands of all time, claiming to have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, including 21 million RIAA-certified albums. Kiss has also earned 30 Gold albums, the most of any band from the United States.
I went last night to the 9pm showing and I was the only one in the theater , kinda cool like it was a private screening for me , real cool movie and a killer soundtrack , fun movie
The movie is horribly marketed. Theater was me and my girlfriend and that's it. And of course I know the movie exists because of the KISS connection but I think it's gonna bomb.
First, thanks for this review! I am waiting for this movie for 10(?) years to be released and now it's out!? I wonder how it will be released here in Germany - cinema, straight to DVD or not at all. I will watch it howsoever I get a chance. I know, curiosity killed the cat, but I'm not a cat.
The movie hit the streets right when Wick 4 and D&D came out, but at least you won't be fighting for a seat (the theaters that are doing assigned seats) at the theaters seeing this.
KISS ALIVE ! Did save the label.......artistic license, just like the "Beth" and "Shout It Out Loud" narrative.

Wow. I just looked it up, you're right. This must mean "disaster area!"
I'm sure the actors who played Ace and Peter were better actors than Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer
Snap!
KISS-DONNA-PARLIAMENT all hit around the same time. Different genres, different market, all helping Casablanca.
I know why Gene & Paul hate "Beth" so much..... They didn't write it.
When it won a Peoples Choice Award, I bet that really cheesed those two off. 😆

I thought that Alive saved Casablanca too. But then again that's Paul and Gene talkin'
thanku for that
Were the Village People on Casablanca? ⚡
I had nooooo idea a movie was being made on bogart but now I gotta watch it for just nostalgic sense but still looks entertaining 😊

A lot of this movie was far from actual events. KISS Alive saved Casablanca. Without it, Casablanca would have folded.
Thnx Ralph🔥 I thought it looked like a disaster from the preview also..good to hear it's alright.cant wait to check it out
cool. I can't wait too see it
WHY????
I enjoyed it a lot…Poor
Paul …the actor looked more like geddy lee from rush …. I was the only person in the theatre …..

Real great movie , loved it
so its not the vh1 def leppard movie 😆
😂
Don’t think I’ll get to see this in the UK
Wow I wanted so bad to see this movie on opening day but it was not playing no where near me nice review!
Should be a made for cable movie. 🔥
I just saw it and I liked it. Cool movie. Gene and Paul hated Beth in the movie and they showed Peter playing it on guitar which was odd.
This movie sounds racist
