Imam Touray, it is the same president Adama Barrow who opposed former president Yahya Jammeh. So former president Yahya Jammeh doesn't pray while he was tours or coming out to pray? Former president Yahya Jammeh was the one who allocated the land of Supreme Islamic council complex and he gave you 1000 bags of cements and 10 wheels trucks to construct the Supreme Islamic council. Make sure Ya Imam Touray don't forget to say that. President Barrow is not giving you that multi millions dalasis . It was the Gambian taxpayers money that he allocated to Gambia supreme Islamic council and Gambia Christians council members too

We can hide behind religion to base our argument on justifying our support for president. Barrow did worse than what you're saying. Barrow tells lots of lies, we have seen him miss prayers while on meetings, we have seen public funds mismanaged, we have seen hospitals, schools, and many other public institutions run out of basic resources. What's worse than that on the part of a leader. I respect you Imam but your argument is bogus. Without opposition Barrow wouldn't have been president. Your interest and benefits you derived from him is why you support him not because of the national interest.

Imam how about the president who openly said he has sacrificed his son ? A president who said he has put sihr on the head of dead bodies? We cannot judge anyone but only ALLAH can judge us. That's why imams, Islamic religious leaders , Alikalolu and chiefs should stop open partisan politics. Imams, Islamic religious leaders, Alikalolu and chiefs has rights to vote in elections but not openly become politicians openly side with one political party over another
Sometimes, I have pointed my fingers on former president Yahya AJJ Jammeh's worst human rights violations onto these imams. Listened to Imam Touray's statements about leader; he said prophet said even leader steal or took your money from you without your consent , you still have to obey and be subservient to that leader. Imam Touray also said prophet said even leader beat you with stick, you still have to obey and subservient to that leader. Even that hadith is TRUE, when you preached and advice this dunya leaders or presidents about that kind of statements, you are encouraging them to be a DICTATOR. So Gambian people can say these Imams are the one who encouraged former president Yahya Jammeh to be DICTATOR and violated human rights of the people. Ya Imam Touray, is it not The same PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) WHO FOUGHT AGAINST HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN MAKKAH AND MEDINA DURING PRE AND POST ISLAMIC ERA? HOW COULD THE SAME PROPHET MUHAMMAD WILL ENCOURAGE LEADERS TO VIOLATES PEOPLE'S RIGHTS? YA IMAM, DURING SECOND CALIPH UMAR IBN AL-KHATTAB'S TIME, HIS REPRESENTATIVE OR ISLAMIC LEADERIN EGYPT SON VIOLATED ONE SAHABA, THEY REPORTED THE MATTER TO UMAR IBN AL-KHATTAB IN MEDINA, UMAR IBN AL-KHATTAB DIDNT SEE THAT THAT ISLAMIC LEADER IS A LEADER OF ALL REGION BUT HE CALL HIM AND HIS SON AND THEN TELL THAT SAHABA TO PAY BACK THE ABUSED THAT LEADER'S SON HAS INFLICTED ON THAT SAHABA. Ya Imam Touray, please tell us which hadith that prophet Muhammad (saw) said what you are saying. I know in the Quran Surah Nisaa verse 59, Allah says we obey him and the prophet and the leaders but if we differ from them let us take it to He Allah and His Messenger. But again who are these leaders Allah talks about Ya Imam . You people should tell us and stop misleading us. You have every right to support any political party leader , that is not a crime but you people should stop misleading or misquoted from the Quran or hadith.
