    The Shoalie a Drew Gregory design, combines Crescents signature paddling performance and platform with new systems that have been designed specifically for fishing. These systems help anglers efficiently manage their rods, paddles, tackle, electronics, and comfort on the water. Oh yeah, and it's American Made!

    I love my Shoalie, and you guys were a pleasure to do business with. My only two complaints so far are the internal rod storage being too small to accommodate a spinning rod, and the track mounted paddle parks were obviously designed for someone with very short legs. Other than those two minor things, I love the boat. Great review as always!

    Looking forward to seeing what you think of it. I’ve had mine out a couple times. Really do like it. Fun to paddle.

    Man i was waiting for this! If you had to pick one kayak for river fishing what would it be?

      I'll be putting the Shoalie to the test over the coming months to really feel it out. But as of right now, the Jackson Coosa HD is my favorite.

      @@tgcanoesandkayaks Awesome. I live in the same area as Drew so I think the Shoalie or the Coosa would be best for my region. I will wait for your next video on the Shoalie before I make up my mind. Thanks for the reply!

      @@tgcanoesandkayaks curious what your thoughts are on it after time with it. I'm leaning towards the coosa X but figured id do my due diligence and look at others and not just be focused on Jacksons.

      @@MysticalDragon73 It' always a good idea to do your research. The Shoalie is a very nice kayak overall, slightly faster than the X and a good 12lbs lighter as well. It's 2 inches narrower than the X therefore noticeably less if you are a 250lb + and has roughly 50 to 70 lb less working capacity.

    Opinions between this and the RVR? is there one that's clearly better than the other?

    • @tgcanoesandkayaks
      @tgcanoesandkayaks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shoalie is smoother to paddle, more agile in rapids, better suited for 275 total load lbs and under. RVR higher carrying capacity 300 lbs and more stability for standing.

      @@tgcanoesandkayaks I’m around 280 and I carry about 25lbs of gear. Sounds like the bonafide is the clear winner

      @@ChampionsKayakFishing RVR would be the best fit out of those two, If you want 350 lbs the Coosa X is the choice.

      I thought the Shoalie had a higher weight capacity compared to the RVR. Did you get them backwards ?
