I know these species are peculiar but are part of the ecosystem thus meaning they matter too because they are also life, so I'm pretty bummed out that the chances of their existence of staying is slim. I hope there will be a miracle to save them. Because I'm a also a fan of strange and peculiar. Oh and uniqueness Of diversity. # save the gharials.
I hope some reintroduction program is started for these guys in the future, introducing them back in the 3 countries that they've become historically extinct from, like what Australia is doing for the Tasmanian Devils (reintroducing them back into the Aussie mainland).
Funny you say that, I was just watching Bruce Almighty. Mayhaps Bruce will respond to your prayer email. (Jokes aside, I hope so too. They're too cool and beautiful to go extinct)
and its even more interesting that there are some birds like the ones from the family megapodes and a specific duck called cuckoo duck that as hatchlings they live alone in the wild, the opposite most people would expect from a bird
@@aydenbuster1186 dude those animals actually can't kill you, and if they're able, they probaly won't do it without a good reason, what you call "wild animal" it's not the same as "killing machine", they're just trying to survive, same as us
@@aydenbuster1186 they are not ugly nor creepy they are just animals shit the animal thinks you look more frightening than him/her and they can kill humans the largest they could eat would be a goat or small dog. #savethegharials
1am watching this and i dunno whyy! But I like that they instinctively learn how to walk and swim and look for their mothers while our human babies can’t do anything with their big heads
As gharials grow, their jaw becomes more robust and they can bring down big fish, birds, etc from that point on. All crocodilians that are aquatic are fish specialists.
Watching this l was prepped for predator to eat a baby…even Nat Geo doesn’t sugarcoat nature, BBC definetly won’t Beautiful creatures, l conpletely agree with Pat Smith below 💜
I really want Gharials to survive... I pray to God they don't go extinct...
That's all we can do for them. Pray and hope.
And work for betterment of their environment

even though they are unusual looking, i think they are cute‼
I think it's interesting how crocodilians share a maternal instinct with birds, both of them being Archosaurs.

Hahah!...🤣
No!
Scientists still can't explain lizard species are extinct
🙃
Baby Crocodilians : Baby Villagers
Adult Crocodilians : Zombies

Gharials are so cute 😭💕✨ I hope their species will thrive and be further away from endangerment.

I knew they were endangered but hell I didn't know they were so few left in the wild!
A Gavial is a relative of the Alligator and the Crocodile
The way they float 🫠
Gharials actually be like "can you take the kids for a few hours while I do the big shop?"
They sound like they would trade you rotten flesh for 5 emeralds
they sound like minecraft villagers
Hey Susan could you babysit the kids? I got to go to the fish store
Why they sounds like villagers in minecraft 😅
