During the cutscene after fighting Zeppo, the sounds are desynced. This affects several other scenes as well but only the cutscenes and only a portion of them. Every video I’ve found features this and given that it’s a selective issue, I can only conclude that it’s an issue with the game itself, possibly due to emulation or not and that there is nothing I can do about it. I used Beetle to record this.
I found that in duckstation at least if you change the execution mode for the CPU emulation into "interpreter(slowest)" under the console tab. The cutscenes will play out correctly, because the original audio took into consideration certain frame drops during them it seems.
DUDE!!!!! I played this game when I was a kid. I have been trying to remember what this game was called FOR YEARS. I was watching the video Linus Tech Tips posted today where they're testing out sketchy game consoles, and I saw the box art pop up on the screen on one of the systems and I was like OMG that's it!!!!!! Instantly searched it and found this video. The only thing I could remember about this game was the flying ship in the beginning and the boss fight with the cat thing at Mt. Sparrowhawk! Obviously it left an impression on me if 6-7 year old me could remember playing this game in 1999 lol. So glad I found this. Going to get ahold of it and play it myself now to relive the old days.😃This game, Final Fantasy 7-9(mainly 7) and Metal Gear Solid were my favorite games growing up!
Glad to hear I'm not the only one! It took me 23 years to find this game again... My search is finally over. I thought I will die without ever knowing what was this game..
A lot of critics disliked this game, but I enjoyed it. Because this game reviews, we never saw a sequel or some sort. I'm studying software engineering and game development. Once day, I'd like to make a spiritual succession of this game.
It's mostly because it couldn't live up the expectations of the first game, although I have many fond memories of it, 't was the first game of this kind I played as a kid and one of the only games I played till the end. Really is a shame how it was treated.
This is one of my favorites action adventure games on PS1. I really enjoyed solving the puzzles and the boss fights. I would love to see an HD remake of this game. So much memories.
Dude I swear I thought I dreamt of this game cause I could never find it anywhere 😩 but I’m so glad it exists… I was lowkey scared of the music and never really passed it as a kid but damn I do have some nostalgia watching the first hour of this
I loved this game as a kid, I remember playing with a dictionary right next to me lol just to get a slight idea of what was going on or what I needed to do, because I'm from Colombia so I knew nothing about English, it took me ages to complete because of that. How the turntables, I am now bilingual.
W T F !! Never managed to clear the Cave growing up. Looking at the scene with the sign-post and invisible jump at 4:22:08 I'm not even mad I quit. The amount of imagination one must possess is way beyond me
I LOVED TAHT GAME! Knew noting about english and played without a memory card, my old ps1 stayed on for days until it crashed because the heat 😂 what a fun times!
Alundra 2 gets a bad rep for being different and not directly affiliated from Alundra, but it's a good game in its own right and deserves mote veneration
It's criminal that this game is not even included in 100 hidden gems all over youtube. This was my childhood. I remember that i only played this with my lesbian cousin's ps1 and didn't finish it. After 10 years and owning my own ps1, i finally finished it. Yes. We are that broke, ps1 in 2007.
este juego sigue siendo hermoso a pesar de los años! Podrias jugar los Breath of Fire 3 y 4 muy probable que te gusten (This game is still beautiful despite the years! You could play Breath of Fire 3 and 4, you will probably like them)
Everyone makes mistakes, I’ll be the first one to attest to that, but it doesn’t matter I appreciate your comment either way cause I learned about these two awesome voice actors in the process. Plus I know you are one of the coolest ppl on TH-cam cause you’ve clicked on this video of Alundra 2 one of PS1’s hidden gems. Have a fantastic rest of your day.
This game was fantastic. I dont know why they didnt name it Flint thr pirate hunter. It would have stood on its own and done a lot better. Calling it Alundra 2 is crazy when it has nothing to do with the first game.

Me too
I have no idea how I found it but i did
Same story!
my cousin gave me this game it also left an impression on me esp the music.
and it weirdly came in a 2 disc case but only had 1 disc

Nearly same to me. I asked ChatGPT. ^^

go for it.
apparently part 1 was way better, i never played it, but i loved 2
@@hammbaby I loved part 1 too, but it was cleverly hard. The puzzles, I meant. Lol.

@@sonny167349I still have it on my PS3. I'm gonna finish that game.
I finally found the name of this game. Most underrated.

Thank you. It brings back lots of nostalgia

Same! we lived the good times and we didint knew it.
Both 1 and 2 are great games. Played both several times

The nostalgic thing that I remembered most in this game is Alexia (I think) called me "You jerk" when I threw a vase at her lmao
This game used to freak me out a bit but holy shit if I'm not filling up with nostalgia from this??
I remember i rushed out of work to get this when it first came out as I was a huge fan of 1. Definitely like 2 more though.
Looks like a fun colorful game with a lot of character even if it isn't ideal as a sequel to Alundra.
At this point (6:30) I doubled the time, I'm with 13 hours...

I forgot Tony Jay narrated this game. :) He is one of my all time favorite voice actors if not the favorite of all time.
Tony Jay is awesome by the way, but I believe this game was narrated by Paul Lukather.
@@EkkoGaming20K You are right. I should always recognize both.
