- This video shows the best and most amazing teams you can use for each starter pokemon in scarlet and violet. For Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. Personally my first playthrough I chose fuecoco and my team was Skelidirge, Tinkaton, Kilowattrel, Veluza, Baxcalibur and Breloom which i used primarily as a false swiper to catch pokemon. All of these teams are diverse and can cover for any type to give you the best advantage.
I find it funny that the first 3 pokemon on Sprig's team are pokemon I used.

I love that Quaxly team. I might actually use that if I ever get a chance to play this game even though I like fuecoco more.
Moxie with Close Combat, White Herb, and Aqua Step is pretty solid. Pair with Acrobatics for further shenanigans once the herb is consumed. 4th slot to taste - Baton Pass is cheeky, but there are plenty of options.
Good luck with that one of them is a Scarlet exclusive and another one is a violet exclusive

I don't go with just the first 6 but I make sure my team is all Pokemon from that Gen by the end of the game
I just find the first Pokémon I see that I like and catch them at the beginning, then I work to get my planned out team

I made the personal restraint of only using Gen nine Pokémon for my teams. That’s how I handle every generation tbh.
I also didn’t research any of the Pokémon before going into my first play though to my blind team at the end was

I do the same, except I always have a pikachu that I evolve as Raichu is my fav pokemon, so every gen i do Raichu + 5 brand new pokes, 1 being the starter. I'm still in the middle of my first playthrough, my squad I'm gonna finish it with is Raichu, Quaxly, Toedscruel, Ceruledge, Frigibax, and Espathra.

I do the same with lucario
For my team, I used Quaxley, clodsire, armoruge, electross, lycanroc, and salamance. They all had moves that were affective against every type, so it was a very balanced team
That’s the method I use when I select my team too
The Pokemon I used are: Quaquavel, Flamigo, Talonflame, Clodsire, Grafaiai, Vivillon
My original Violet team was Quaquaval, Tinkaton, Goodra (shiny), Salamance, Ceruledge and Staraptor. Then when I got scarlet my team was Quaquaval (again), Talonflame, Kingambit (shiny), Tinkaton, and the gift shiny Lucario. (I can’t remember the last member, however for a time I used Raichu and Tsareena)
Skeledirge for me is a bit different since I find Garchomp to actually mix well with Fuecoco but I do find Thinkaton to be fun and grass I use Cyclizer.
Thinkaton is a good Pokémon nuts it’s more on the defense side which is a shame but it’s also really good offense with gigaton hammer and play rough

I was catching and rotating pokemon alot, so I experimented quite a bit before settling for the "A-Team of six": Meowscarada (Marcy), Anahilape (Hades), Espion (Amity), Magnesone (Thilo after my physics teacher), (Dusk) Lycanrock (Albaz), Dondozo (Laboon).
Honorable mentions are Gyarados, Garchomp, Krookidile,Cetitan and Lokix. They were on the team for quite a while, but retired as I used them either to often or didnt enjoy using them to much.
Appreciation for naming your Espeon Amity, my Grimer is named that in Scarlet
For my team I used Quaquaval, Ceruledge, Krookodile, Toxtricity, Tinkaton and Baxcalibur.
I got on very well with this team.

Can you use your dream team in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
For the Skeledirge team, I had all those mons in my playthrough apart from Kilowattrel and Breloom. I wanted to use a full team of Paldean Pokèmon and Kilowattrel didn't impress me much tbh... So instead I had Pawnot and Clodsire in my final team and they worked really well for me. Clodsire (called Wompus) got the best nature for it and I did have to change my Pawmots (Volt) nature with a mint to put it to its best, but they were good members on my team.
Idk why but I went from despising all 3 starter final evolutions to actually enjoying using and having them on my team. They each have own unique personalities and their own strengths and weaknesses and I just can’t get enough of them.
i like skeledirge the most, then meowscarada, and as much as i hate to say it i like quaquaval theleast

The squad is a little too heavy on physical attackers, but that tends to be what I end up with. Might need to swap out Tinkaton for Gardevior and Pawmot for Kilowattrel or Bellibolt for some special attack power.

I'll never forget my favorite team I ever made back in gen 5, not because of power levels but because of type coverage and I loved all the designs, Emboar, Krookodile, Ferroseed, Galvantula, Starmie, Braviary

The Polteageist evo idea is awesome. I’m not necessarily buying into it wanting it, but I respect the theory. Sounds kinda awesome tbh. If it does come to pass as you’ve predicted, I won’t be upset.

My team is Skeledirge, Annihilape, Armarouge, Espeon, Dragonite, and Glimmora. Probably a crap composition, but I love the Espeon and Armarouge combo. I also like to catch people off guard by switching in Glimmora on physical attackers. Dragonite for coverage. Skeledirge for its natural bulk and snowballing effect of stacking special attack bonuses. Annihilape because I think it’s just cool as hell.
So a thing I like to do is build a "champion team" basically getting a thematic team and ousting the champion from their roles, and sprigatito's team was basically every pokemon I was going to use.
My team is Ceruledge, shiny Fluttermane, Tinkaton, Garchomp, Chien-Pao and Miraidon! Sometimes I also use Breloom or Slither-Wing
How did you find the shiny fluttermane
For Quaxly’s you put version exclusives from each game on there lol. Not impossible but a little more work to get both Tyranitar and Ceruledge on the same team.

I usually make a point of only using new mons each generation, but this time there was one exception. Funnily enough, 4 mons for each of my play throughs were mentioned. I used these:
Violet - Quaquaval, ceruledge, kilowattrel, tinkaton, cyclizar and glimmora (I know, a bit late for a play through, but I got one in a lucky trade and bred one down so I could be the OT)
Scarlet - meowscarada, armarouge, palafin, corviknight, pawmot and annihiliape.
Used Corviknight because I didn’t like the other flying type options 😅
Ceruledge is such a goated pokemon, it's signature move has gotten me so many close call dubs

Clodsire is literally one of the best Pokémon with daschbun
I used a Meowscarada, Talonflame, Spidops, Clodsire, Garganacl And a Ceruledge
I just want to point out that the Quaquaval team is actually impossible to make without using online in some way because Cerueledge is exclusive to Violet and Tyranitar is exclusive to Scarlet, but it can probably just be whichever charcadet evo is in your version(same with the meowscarada team) and then either Tyranitar or Salamance depending on your version or maybe a mon like Lycanroc of whatever form you like most or something.
I asked for a replacements just in case if people don’t have access to the other versions or online
You need clodsire on the cat’s team so that a being as based as clodsire can counteract the furry bait.
My champion team ended up being my Meowscarada named Moss, Gastrodon named Alpharad, Armarouge named Vader, Mimikyu named Beloved, Pawmot named Surge, and Garchomp named Daenerys. Funny thing was: I was still working on leveling up my Garchomp and, on a whim, decided to see how far through the elite 4 I could get. I was not expecting to pass the first time, but that’s exactly what happened. Though, lately, I’ve been finding my Revavroom, named Speed, to be a lot more useful than Garchomp…

@@pringle409 I don't know about that one. I used a golduck in one of my games and it sucked. Only use it if it has it's hidden ability, if not, then don't use it.
@@gam360y your wrong, cloud nine is a great ability especially when you bring in your water type to fight a fire with the sun up, psyduck is actually faster than veluza and has higher stats! Veluza is a little physically stronger but psyduck has a good special and good attack making him have a better move pool. Veluza is only better because it’s a psychic type and has stab but that’s comes with a lot of weaknesses.

When i first played Violet, my team was Meowscarada, Tinkaton, Baxcaliber, Gholdengo, Palafin, and Miraidon
My team is always changing to combat the next stong gym/champion as well the three friends. It mostly consists of all The Eevelution(mostly Sylveon, Umbreon, Espoin, and Flareon), two Meowscarada (one my starter and the other from Japan), Lucario, Pawmot, Garchomp, Goodra, Cinderace, and Salazzle. I always pick them.
my team consists of clodsire, clodsire, clodsire, clodsire, clodsire and a clodsire. This carried me through the whole game
In most endgame battles I had my go-to team of:
Kurt the Quaquavel, Big Mac the Hariyama, Floop the Clodsire, Kil the Raichu, Jetfire the Garchomp, and either Chickstache the Mabosstif or Shrieker the Frosslass.
A LOT of end-game pokemon are 4x weak to frost type or fighting. I love exploiting it
Skeledirge, Vaporeon, Cetitan, Clodsire, Bellibolt and I can't remember the last one off the top of my head

Really liking this generation a lot so I tried to go full Paldean team. Made 2 different teams. There are a lot of really cool mons this generation but I mostly used these.

As for My Dream Team It would be Skelederge, Meowscarada, Quackal, Iron Valliant/Roaring Moon, Miradon/Koraidon, (depending on version), and undecided 4 slot 6
My Teams for every gen consist of new Pokémon every time except this where I made an exception to the rule as he was just too cool not to.
Meowscarada, Pawmot, Ceruledge, Paldean Water Tauros, Clodsire, Espartha.
Post game things go back to where i want but most of this team has stayed. Great mons this gen.
Ceruledge is my absolute FAVORITE Pokémon from this gen! He’s INCREDIBLE. With sword dance and bitter blade, if there’s a 6 star Tera raid that is weak to fire then he will NOT lose. If it’s a type that fire is weak to then I give him the weakness policy item and he usually OHKOS 5 star raids at the very least.
The team I used is meowscarada, talonflame, ceruledge, azumarill, and garganacl.
I know it's not the best combination of types, but I'm happy with he pokemon I use
In Violet, I am using Quaquaval, Clodsire, Cyclizar, Kilowattrel, Tinkaton and Scovillian (it’s all Paldea team). In Scarlet, Skeledirge, Pawmot, Arboliva, Slowbro, Skuntank and Ribombee (half paldea and half previous generations which I never used before)
By the time I got to the league I had Quaquaval, Ceruledge, Kingambit, Iron Treads, Wo-Chien and Dragonite (The final two are now Ogerpon and Miraidon respectively)
My personal team was Meowscarada, Ampharos, Ceruledge, Goodra, Palafin, and Venomoth. Surprisingly well balanced and each team member pulled their weight pretty well
Funny part is I actually used a lot of these.
Albeit, I used Palafin on my Skeledorge team in Scarlet alongside Ursaring, Venomoth, Hydreigon, and Shiny Jumpluff, which was originally gonna be Breloom before I found a Shiny Hoppip like thirty minutes into the game, and Tinkaton, Baxcalibur, Ceruledge, and Eelektross were all used on my Meowscarada team in Violet alongside Clawitzer
My violet play through was actually pretty close to this quacksly team. Wow I guess I’m finally becoming a hood trainer after 20 years
My team consists of the following:

- Kilowattrel [Electric/Flying]
- Tinkaton [Fairy/Steel]
- Scovillian [Grass/Fire]

I sometimes base it off first caught, i also try and always use pokemon i never used in main teams. As i had both games 1 is never used Arboliva, Kilowattel, Seviper, Baxcaliber, Kingsgambit, and Skeldridge. I like avoiding 2 of the same type on a team. The other was since it's the 9th gen. Not counting starter can use 1 pass team member from each odd # gen and a new gen 9 member. Wigglytuff(anilape would mean 2 ghost), roaring moon(didn't read or watch to know it wasn't salemence), sawsbuck, lycanroc(midnight), revaroom(cetitan, tinkaton or armorouge would repeat types), and skeldrige

Torkoal w/drought,
The twin headed bell pepper,
And a shiny tallonflame.
Basically I picked the fire type starter, immediately found a shiny, them picked up 2 grass types, one of them happen to be fire too. so that was fun.
My team also has Meowscarada, Armarouge and Palafin
Instead of the other three I got Annihilape, Kilowattrel and Revavroom
I just used mons I liked tbh lol, but I think my team was pretty balanced!

Ceruledge
Tinkaton
Clodsire (I couldn't remember the last team slot, so I just inputted Clodsire since I did use it most of the game)
I used Armarouge, Annihalape, Baxcalibur, Kilowattrell, Kingambit and Clodsire. I also used a Garganacl and Gogoat for some battles.
Funny thing is if you want a strong team you might as well wanna get a paradox Pokémon those things come in real handy in a battle
I found this funny since i had such an easy time using quackaval but all the Pokemon he talks about in that team werent in my final team
My final team was quackaval, heidreigon, talonflame, bellibolt, galade and kinggambit
My team is meowscarada, Heracross, Clawitzer, dusk form Lycanroc, Volcarona, and salamence.
For my team I had talonflame, garganacle, espeon, gallade, meowscarada and ceruledge. Lots of type overlap, I know but I find it much easier to work with fire and psychic types.

I have sprigatito and I was very surprised to see Noivern, as I not only have it on my team but it’s my favorite Pokémon
I feel like Quaquaval’s team is severely lacking in a fast attacker out the gate. Quaquaval serving as a set up sweeper, Arboliva being a support wall, Tyranitar and Corviknight being attacking walls, Elektross being a no weakness generalist and Ceruledge being an anti-spa revenge killer. I’d say swap out Corviknight since Elekross and Tyranitar collectively serve it’s purpose as an attacking wall / earthquake switch. A good unused fast attacker without type cross over could be Blaze breed Tauros
I have almost my perfect Quaquaval shiny team already. Can’t wait for them to drop in PokemonGO in a month or so. Then I’ll finally get a reasonable chance to snag my shiny starter. Quaquaval all the way!!!
I just finished my 1st playthrough a few days ago and my team was Meowscarada, Pawmot, Tinkaton, ceruledge, garchomp and I couldn't really decide on a final team member so I was using slowbro for a while until I caught Chien-pao for the final stretch of the game
My team in my Scarlet Let's Play are Skeledirge (Fire/Ghost), Pawmot (Electric/Fighting), Lokix (Bug/Dark), Tinkaton (Fairy/Steel), Toedscruel (Ground/Grass) and Palafin (Water). They're all native to Paldea and you can check them out on my playlist.
Meowscarada, Pawmot, Daushbun, Ceruledge, Baxcalibur, Maushold with a rotation option for Lokix, Clodsire and Salt Rinse
I went with Meowscarada cuz I like cats and then the rest was Armarouge, Bellibolt, Paladin, Tinkaton and Annihilape. I know I could’ve gotten better coverage, literally have no answer for electric types, but for each gen I just try and use as many new Pokémon as possible and a mix of Pokémon that I just like
Also for Sprigatito violet team I recommend Tinkaton, Ceruledge, Mabostiff, Meowscarada, Houndstone and Grafaiai
My team was Meowscarada Garchomp Toxapex Annihilape Volcarona and Tinkaton. Love all of them. Meowscarada and Tinkaton specifically have joined the ranks of Delphox and Mawile in the favorite Pokémon club.
