It was great to hear the advice: "Wear as much boot as you can tolerate". I like that. On road or off-road, if you come off the bike the more boot you are wearing, the less injury you will suffer. I guess it's a game of probability - how likely are you to come off the bike? Off - road those odds increase. Great video. Thanks.
Great review I have the ADV and really pleased with them for road riding and walking about. Going to invest in the terra for a bit more protection. Thanks for comparing.
Had Forma Adventure a few months, really like them, so comfy I keep them on around the house after a ride instead of 'ew get these bloody hot boots off!' Only criticism is the treads are quite aggressive so tangle a bit with my crf300l gnarly footpegs. The Evo Terras look a bit smoother.
Calves! Noted he said no problems for big calves. My calves are about 17” around, and the Adventure boot was too tight. Had to buy the Adventure Low - love it.
I'm glad you bought this up as I felt the same with the Adventure boot, I have fat calves and the boots often used to wear skin off the back of my legs. One trip i found my legs to be red raw just about.....I ended up selling them and like you, i might end up buying the shorter ones, otherwise they are pretty comfy. How do the shorter boot feel?
@@davidjohnston1374 the shorter Forma is great. I use motocross type shin and knee protection under my pants. Little bulky. Don’t look too bad. Cheap fix. The boots are the best piece of gear I have.
Hello my friends, I'm Italian and unfortunately I didn't get any word of this comparation. I understood everything except the difference in walking comfort, can you explain me? Thanks
Like Kim stated; Forma Adventure boots are similar in wear to a hiking boot,Very comfortable, easy to walk or hike in; moderate protection...Forma Terra boots are stiffer, still pretty comfortable after break in period. Terra evo offers more protection than the Adventure but not as much as a Mx boot.

Great info and comments. No B.S straight to the point and user insight. Great channel. 👍👍

I really enjoyed this video and it helped me choose the one that I would need. Going to your website now. Thank you!

forma is more flexible, more like a hikingboot, terra has more protection but stiffer to walk in.

Super informative! 😉
Thanks for the info
I've watched a number of your reviews. They are always helpful but I've been wondering when you'd trip over all those "w"s in your sign-off. ;-)
Cheers forma terra evo it is!!!
