I LOVE LOVE this product. I have most of the colours and use them every day. What I do is mix 5 - 6 of them together on a blending palate then apply a relatively thin line of the combo of colours along the upper lid directly at the lash base on the lid (if that makes sense). I apply before finishing my makeup and it typically leaves me with a very vibrant jeweled line. It is a rare day that I do not get compliments on my eye makeup so I guess I am not the only one that thinks the jeweled look of this product is beautiful. Also I find that yes the product does start to dry up slightly over time but I have been using these for over a year and still am using the same jars so I would suggest that the shelf life is really not bad at all.(just ordered new ones last week)

I own them all, too. My favorite is Pixie Dust and Lightning Bolt. I definitely feel I can only use them with a silicone applicator, too, because if I use the traditional brush it ruins my brushes. I also will use a glitter glue sometimes but only on my wings or if I need to put the smallest amount in a specific spot. Like I woulda used a glitter glue for the lid but I have to wear shadows 14+ hours for work. This was super helpful though!
These are gorgeous & I love the look you did! I've never bought any of these because I just don't think I'll use them enough to justify the price but they're so beautiful. 💜✨

I didn’t know you could store these in a fridge or to not get too many at once, that makes sense to me. My first one was Lightning Bolt and I was really let down with the application and then I got two more and they seemed to be a better consistency. I found also that if you do want a lot of color, you have to apply it with pressure. Great review, swatches, tutorial and your final look was beautiful!
Great video! I’ve been needing swatches of all of them in one place, and I also appreciate all the info you shared about the formula and how you like to use it. I have Strobe Light, Laser Beam, Monarch, and Moonlight. I love them all, and like you, I prefer to apply them with a silicone applicator or small synthetic brush.
I only have Shooting Star and Firefly but I would buy all non-black-based shades if I could justify the price. This is my favourite gel flakies formula because it contracts/pulls less on my eyelid skin. As long as I avoid getting inner part of my hood stuck to inner lid then it is all good lol - I also skip the deepest part of the crease. Silicone applicator is my favourite method of application because I hate washing brushes, but I can definitely get a more precise (in terms of flakies anyway) result with certain brushes. It used to annoy me when one big flake was in 'wrong' place but now I embrace the chaos!
One day, I might get one of these to try out. Maybe if it's on a super discount. Because you're right - since I doubt I'll use it frequently, it will likely dry out before I get to the bottom of any jar.
The shades are super gorgeous but i tend to stay away from super flakey formulas, because of my textured eyelids i end up looking like some chicken crispys 😅
I love hot lava, lightning bolt and firefly, but I agree, that’s just so expensive for one color. Maybe save the idea for Black Friday, if they participate.
I like you bought every shade. However, they would crease and flake off on me so I hated them and they’ve been just sitting in my collection. I’m gonna give these another try and be more mindful of letting the gel dry. Thank you so much for this video because that was a lot of money I spent, and I was so disappointed. Haha that’s why i don’t like loose flakies because I would always get a big chunk in the wrong place and couldn’t move it
