This is a gorgeous costume! Your "stiltwalker" forest creature videos have been a primary source of motivation for me to attempt to create my own this year. I love the boar's head on this one, it's so cool! I can't imagine how terrifying it would be to have that charge at you while drunk like I'm sure some of the clubbers were. LOL
That looks so dope! Also, I just wanted to let you know that your videos have actually inspired me to take a crack at making my own stilt monster costume to scare my family on our annual camping trips
I really enjoyed your videos and have watched a few of them. I do a similar thing with a stilts costume, but my ogre is upright and bipedal. The texturing with paper towels looks great for texture. Do you have problems with rain and wetness? or are they sealed up with the paint? I hope your 2023 one is going well!
Thanks for the kind words :) That's a great question -- I'm sure the house paint provides some kind of sealing properties, but I haven't dared put it to the test since everything else (paper towels, acrylic paint) is super water soluble. Might be worth experimenting with in case rain is unavoidable, though. Good luck with your ogre costume!
@@jdhatfield723 Thank You, I am in the Pacific NW, so rain is just a part of life and with his height, I can only really do outdoor festivals. Right now, I am getting him back in shape and making improvements (Ogre-hauling) Looking forward to seeing your next creation.

How do you make the actual stilts I have been trying be can’t figure it out
The front legs are crutches and the rear legs are kangaroo stilts -- all found second-hand and repurposed.
