Kit! Love her! Not my fave, but I do have the Kit video game. 😂😂😂 Totally agree that Fanny is so much stronger than everyone gives her credit for. She saves that book, honestly. She's my third favorite Austen protagonist.
@@bethanybringsbooks Yeah! You ran around town and collected clues to solve mysteries. You also fed chickens, collected eggs, and sold them. Once you emptied a feed sack, you took it to Aunt Millie, who made you a dress.
I liked Kit as a child but she wasn't my favorite American Girl either. Actually I don't remember much about her. I liked Molly and Samantha and Kirsten. They were my favorites. Also ... A movie?! I didn't know there was a movie! And I really need to read A Portrait of Emily Price now that I have a copy
Thank you for reading Before and After! I can't wait to hear what you think of I've Said Love. And you said my name correctly once, so I'll message you a voice message on IG to tell you how to say it. I loved the kitty making an appearance! And I LOVE Mansfield Park. Fanny is my favorite Austen heroine.
@@bethanybringsbooks I wish I could say I had but I’m in my 50s and haven’t read her ‘til now. 🤷♀️This one I’m really enjoying but Where the Wild Rose Blooms is slow to me. 🤨 I love romance on the prairie or in the mountains! 😍
I liked I’ve Said Love even better than Before and After. Love you are loving Mansfield Park. Fanny is morally strong in my opinion too! The complicated feelings I have about it have to do with how she is treated. She is amazing. Does Farmer Boy make you hungry? It did me when they would describe what they were eating. 😂 Love the American Girls, including Kit, but so agree not my favorite compared to Samantha, Felicity, Kiersten, Molly, and Addy.
I’m looking forward to reading I’ve Said Love. I finished Mansfield Park yesterday and I really loved it. Looking forward to sharing my final thoughts. Fanny was definitely not treated the greatest. I think (in the end) her family didn’t realize how precious she was until they missed her! Then they realized what a treasure she truly was. Yes, all of the little house books make me hungry lol! The foods sound so good!!!
So glad you like Jane Austen’s books, I like some of her books as well.❤❤ looking forward your April TBR.😊😊
She wrote some wonderful books!
A Portrait of Emily Price sounds good- I love a Southern setting.
It is good! I will say that after the first third of the book, much of it takes place in Italy. Which I enjoyed!
I want to read Mansfield Park also. Great video! Top tier! 👏🏻
Thank you 😊. Mansfield Park was fabulous!
@@bethanybringsbooks So is all of Thomas Hardy’s books. He’s my classic favorite!
Sarah, Plain, and Tall was a fav of mine growing up!
❤️❤️

I didn’t realize there was a Kit video game! I bet I would have loved that if I’d had it when I was younger!
I honestly adored Fanny.

@@MorgansEndlessBookshelf ok that sounds so fun 😂
Added Songbird to my TBR because of you 😊

AG made Samantha, Molly, Felicity, and Kit into movies. I really enjoyed them!
I think you would enjoy Emily Price. Especially if you’ve read her other books and enjoyed them.

Thanks for allowing me to read it!
Mansfield Park was amazing. I loved Fanny. I’m looking forward to talking about it more!
I bought Cheney Duvall! The first four. 😊I dipped into the first one but I’m reading Sophie’s Heart by Lori Wick.
Oh so exciting! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about the Cheney series. I need to reread Sophie’s Heart. I read it YEARS ago.

I loved many of the American Girls but I think my fave was Felicity!
I've had a hankerin layely to re-read American Girl books.Specifically felicity or samantha
Those were two of my favorites!
You actually dont have to do Oceanas prompts in order if you dont want to, which makes things way easier IMO 😊
Oh yea! I didn’t think about that lol. 😆
