I'm not even a VR user and gogo loco has helped out a lot for me. Definitely helps blend in more as I'm not just a stiff plank with a single crouch and single prone pose.
here is some tips. if you put the tracker on the hip facing left or right arm it fixes that chest tracking. make sure your base stations are placed in a good position
I'm kinda surprised for gogoloco that you went for the more manual install method instead of the vrcfury prefab which makes it just a drag and drop install for people. Since that method just merges the controllers and that during the upload process and makes it only takes a few steps. So pretty beginner friendly in terms of throwing it on your avatar.
Yup, this is the way. Doesn't matter whether you've already got custom controllers set. It just merges the gogo loco stuff along with any existing controllers into a new controller at upload. Removing it is just as easy too. Just remove the prefab from your hierarchy.
awesome video ! i was confused about how standable works, and body estimation, but you explained verry well and now i understand, also the puppeteer seams fun to use x3
I use standable and I don't have any trackers I recommend it multiple players have been surprised when I say I don't have full body trackers Its really good imo!!
IMHO! VD Emulation cons & pros Pros: -Works very stable, you just need to calibrate once and forget about it, while also provide much more alive movement for your body and walking. Even if Quest 3 has ability to track you upper body, it also works very good on Quest 2. Forward bend and side bend looks natural. Cons: -Doesn't have position slider like on Standable. So you can only sit in one position and also lay down in only one position. -When you put your headset down and then hop back in, it can put your avatar in weird position stuck in the floor. So you have to quit VD and launch it again, but you don't have to restart everything at all, you just spend few seconds and you are back in with no problem at all. It happened often before on release, but now not very often, still happens sometimes. -VD emulation is only for Quest which is exclusive, that's kind a sad, at least for now. Standable cons & pros Pros: -As mentioned before, Standable provides position slider, which works good and allows to customize your position almost as you like. -Works on any headsets Cons: -Body movement and overall tracking less alive, walking animation is more like sliding on skiis than walking. Can't bend forward, as it makes avatar to crouch. -Often need to re-calibrate and floor fixing, bugs out the avatar, making it twisting on hips or legs with several calibration to fix it. -Often crashes P.S. I'm a VD user, as Standable are using my friends and even all other people who use Standable, all saying about those problems that I mentioned before. It's still better to have at least something, than nothing. But in my opinion VD is overall better, than Standable.
They are the 2.0 trackers. I use a program called OVR Space Calibrator to combine the two tracking spaces. Probably should have mentioned it- a lot of people use it to combine base station setups with standalone headsets.
@@TahvoStudio Nice! I've been doing a lot more with my Quest 3 than my VIVE lately, and I've been thinking about using SlimeVR with JoyCons as a stop-gap until I can get something like the proper SlimeVR trackers. If I can get my VIVE 3.0s working, that'd be ideal.
I just want my feet and body to move a little tiny bit according to how i move for more immersion, I don't want to pay what i don't or barely have to just be able to stand up normally or have my feet slightly walk in accordance to mine when standing in vrchat without having to fiddle with Gogo Loco, or a camera because I have 0 space to capture my whole body. :( It doesn't have to be full on kicking or dancing but just a little more immersion would be nice and bring me back more.
I have a question. I am a VR user. Dance dash. I want to play this game, but the tracker is expensive I saw this video, do I need to install two webcams on either side of the 60 or 120 frames and run the MoCapforall program?? Q) I've seen delays or unnaturalness in videos of game users made with webcam tracker systems and in games. Won't this happen???
Im mostly interested since this would fix some issues that the camera has while also giving a full motion without ANY trackers, which would be soooo much comfortable
hey im having trouble. when i set everything up correctly but when calibrating in vr chat, my elbows are a bit like wonky, like bending inward/outward. any fix?
1:58 *It would cost me hundreds of dollars so not possible, its about the same price of actual trackers cuz virtual desktop is pretty high priced and i need a way better pc cuz i only have a chromebook and that cant run steamVR so basically i ether be: Rich Or HELLA lucky, to get full body tracking so yeah I'm not that lucky and also not really able to afford that stuff.. so hooray! no full body tracking even just estimations, for me..*

Standable is very decent in my experience. I'm sorry you feel that way, there is also a large discord community for standible that can help with whatever issue you are facing.
God, I’m so lucky that I downloaded OVR advanced settings before it became paid to get
Same
@@Djx51omg same me too
just found out its not free anymore glad i got it earlier
makes me happy i was able to, RIP all the new VR users tho

I like how the puppet controllers is just paws. Also very useful programs :3 thanky for sharing
Always the info guru when it comes to equipment and programs used for a better VR experience.😺
Only now discovering that Quest 3 has upper body tracking. This is sick imo.

Damn this is a great video Tahvo! Well heckin done ^^
I love the responite avatar poser so nice

ty!! I was looking into getting Virtual Desktop because of my quest 3 not wanting to connect to my pc
makes me wonder if i could somehow rig my old rift sensors to help with full body estimation
There's also Viso for camera-based tracking
I’ve got a video on that!
Using ALVR meta to PC estimation is completely free. Just be prepared to go through a lot of pain setting it up.
quest 2 also works with virtual desktop fbt and index tracking
Virtual Desktop FBE works surprisingly well, even on Quest 2.
great vid! i plan on combining all the tracking software i have in the future just to see what happens >:3
Still debating of Quest 3 or the Index.. but this makes me want to get the Quest 3..
I wonder if joycon + standable would improve the quality of joycons
Cool. Something ill definitely get.
How do you do VIVE Trackers and Quest 3 at the same time? Are they the VIVE Standalone trackers, or are they the Outside-In trackers?
They are the 2.0 trackers.

The virtual desktop option works well on the quest 2 as well, you just can't move your shoulders (i have a video on it)
I’m setting up a tracking on the quest two using the eyetracker VR project, maybe you should look into it
meanwhile me using a xbox360 kinect with Amethyst i might try that with standable if it works
Hey cant go wrong with the Kinect
I was not expecting to see my comment in this video

Have you tried using the viso fbt (the camera full body tracking with video camera) with any of this programs?

What about using the virtual desktop and standable? Would that work for quest 3?
Question do u need steam vr or even steam?
how did i never know virtual desktop to do this😭😭😭
Can you mix Virtual Desktop with standable?
will any of these work with skater vr? ik itll work with most shooting games i play like bonelab and contractors, but wat about the sports?
how do u open standable with your in game model previewing it
so whats everyones opinion which one do u think works best and which one i should try standable or virtual desktop
hey im having trouble. when i set everything up correctly but when calibrating in vr chat, my elbows are a bit like wonky, like bending inward/outward. any fix?
Thank god I already own ovr then
could puppeteer be used with basestations?
yipee!
But if I don't own any avatars and are VRChat's, which of these methods would do the job in this situation?
Does it work for Blade & sorcery nomad?
Me who's watching this when I already have SlimeVR:
Me who already paid for them and it didn't arrive since February:
Would the elbow tracking thing work with Pico 4?
Nope, Quest feature
@@TahvoStudio Ight, thanks
Ngl if you have the money to get vives just get them I have them with a q 2 and I get better tracking then index users
tho its using trackers i think you really should have mentioned that (aperently) you can use phones and joycons as slimes for an app called slimevr
Are it software easy to install?

Does gogo loco work in other games
Sadly no. Gogoloco only works in VRChat
so there none for quest 2?
I heard the VD option works on quest 2 except for elbows
Sadly vrchat would have to implement the Quest full body or someone would have to make an OSC router
i wish i had vr
first love the vids
OVR WENT TO PAID? HUH!
