The people that made the first Parasite Eve left the company years ago and I don't think Sakaguchi will return for a possible remake and after the direction they went with 3rd Birthday I hope the franchise stay dead honestly.
@@Orbitthemaster Yeah man 3rd Birthday was a stinker and it killed the franchise. With both Parasite Eve 1 & 2 they should have just left the story off there. I mean if they really did wanna continue the story after PE2 they could have always just made a light novel. I mean the game is literally based off of a Japanese horror light novel in the first place anyway lmao
@@Orbitthemaster The real obstacle is that PE isn't really an original IP of theirs. if they wanted to do anything with the franchise,even a remake,they would have get permission to use the license again.Which is probably why 3rd Birthday's story turned out like it did.
@@infinitedreamer9359 Square Enix owns the IP (for games obviously), they just renewed the IP last year and they still sell the original games on the PSN store for the PS3 and they also included the first game with the Playstation Classic (Japan Only). It's the same situation of the Spider Man IP where Sony owns the rights of movies.
This is not really a bad thing. It's symbolic. The theme that plays during that boss fight is a version of the theme that plays while you're reading Melissa's diary way at the beginning of the game that gives the reader the first signs that her humanity is slipping away.

Sadly SE doesn't have the license to the original Parasite EVE novel IP anymore, and given how bad the 3rd game did in sales they're not in any hurry to renew it.
This boss fight was really good. The final showdown with Aya and Eve. I just used her liberation PE skill and after a few bullets in her chest I just blasted her with waves of attacks. So satisfying after the battle to see her crash to the ground and just melt away. I mean karmas a bitch she melted the whole audience that was supposed to hear this crazy woman sing at that park
Lol.. you must be the first and only person in the world to hate Melissa/Eve.. She is the soul of this game.. and based in a worldwide enemies characters concourse, she is the all times favourite ❤
I think the OST for this game has a couple of remade tracks using a real vocalist instead of the synth voice. Honestly, the synth voice doesn't sound that bad most of the time, only when it hits really high or low notes does it get distracting.

The saddest thing about this theme... you don't get to hear it when you go for the game's true ending.

The amount of wig snatching and nail scratching that happened in this fight 😭😭 The music only made it that much more intense.
