- I think the previous Golden Guards should be allowed to kick Belos' ass. As a treat. Knock his ego down a few pegs.
Jokes aside I had a lot of fun experimenting with my first ever animatic! Learned a lot of technical stuff with this one.

Just a note, the Golden Guard in the animatic is intended to be the previous Golden Guard. Oobviously nothing wrong with interpreting it otherwise, I just figured it adds a little context!
I would have substituted The Titan for God personally and Churches with head, but that’s just me

wow this audio fits WAY too well. it’s so interesting how a lot of belos’s character and rhetoric involves christianity, so using this scene w/ the golden guards is mwah perfection. the animatic itself is so cool and all the grimwalkers surrounding belos looked genuinely unsettling.

I’m speechless. I’d imagine that this is hidden deep inside Belos’ mind, which explains the Golden Guard’s demonic voice - it’s what Belos remembers him as. A demon.

At least the calebs managed to stop the day of unity. I'm sure theyd be proud of how far Hunter has got if he's still alive in that universe, If he wasnt he'd probably be with the group since hed have the most to me angry about so im sure he's fine.

I'd pay a million dollars for this to become a actual plot point in Owl House, the idea of all or at least most of the past Golden Guard seeking revenge against Belos is a amazing concept that I'm very disappointed isn't Canon
Well got damn this fuckin slaps. Dark and creepy take on the owl house combined with the audio of one of the best scenes from one of the best tv shows netflix has ever made. There are no words strong enough to express how severely this animatic fucks, but I suppose "hell yes" will suffice

This animatic is absolutely incredible! I love the lighting and the dark religious overtones you included thanks to the audio-seems the past Golden Guards are getting revenge, and I'd love it if something similar had happened in canon. Wonderful job!

I can totally imagine Belos having this dream right before the day of the eclipse, as a kind of profetic warning, but he ignores it.

AAAAA I'm so happy you noticed / liked all those details! And I had the previous golden guard (Darius' mentor with the GG sigil) in mind but I think the first one could thematically work very well too!

@@tahraethestoryteller6079 I'd like to think these are the actual demons that Philip was so afraid of possessing these Golden Guard's bodies. Belos may have done what he believed was God's bidding, but the Lord would be disgusted with what he'd had done/ tried to do. But who would find this particularly funny? The ones that fell from heaven. The real demons that he was so afraid of. And they've come to take him to Hell, not this "Demon Realm", where fools like him belong.
Luz: What happened here?
Hunter: Judgement.
Willow: Hunter, are you ok?
Hunter: I've never felt better in my life.
Sometimes i picture a difference scenario for King's Tide, that instead for The Collector stoping him, it was one of the Guards manifestations/spirits that stoped him or took his attention from killing the Hexsquad, and having this exact scene happening in front of everyone, much to their surprise and shock.
And then Hunter look at his predecessors in total horror.
... Also this is inspiring me to make art! I want to see what so many of the dilapidated, torn up Caleb revenants would look like... I might just draw that myself

1:13 I half expected The Golden Guard to say “This is not a church” even though I know it’s not really from The Owl House
In a sense parts of the Titan could be considered a false church, Belos did use the Titan as a symbol of worship in order to control people.
That was amazing story and voice. Voice Golden guard sounds more subtle, but did someone enter that corpse's body😶

oh this is horrifying! I love it! also! its so well done, the walking animations, the way the color palette changed ever so slightly darker throughout the video, until finally the frame of the past golden-guards which is arguably the darkest while being a main frame. I'm such a sucker for using color in themeing, it's just so cool, it's all just so cool!! also the audio is just- everything was put together perfectly!!
