AMD from Car Care Nut channel explained it really specifically with actual engine parts and I'm amazewd how the engineers came up with the design using oil pressure! But as others noted, I'm a little cloudy on why an engine needs to advance timing?? If it's sucking air/fuel sooner for combustion, how is it exhausting it?? Is it opening to get more and then adjusts itself back each stroke so it gets more air/fuel to combust?
Ah! I see! The blue orbs of spinning make the shining metal eggs of pushing go back and up or down and round, depending on how far to the outside of the magic wheel the blue orbs are! Yes. It’s all very clear to me now.
Animation is bit confusing although concept is right. Cam gears move forward or backward to make adjustment in camshaft. Animation does not should that cam gear movements clearly

and i drive alotttt damn near 50 miles on a good day 40 any other time but i’m learning as i go i’m grateful to have such a reliable engine for at 20 year old with 190k

It’s advancing the timing of the cam lobes to open earlier, I believe…please correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s the basic concept here.
That's correct. Though technically it can also retard valve timing. It's like having multiple "hot swappable" cams.
So it uses centrifugal force to shift the cams (ik there are lot of method).
