As a new scheme teacher I really value all the information in your videos. I wish someone had sat down with me and gone through the process when I first graduated. It still frustrates me how slowly it works! Keep posting, 9 weeks to go!!
Holly Hartwell thank you so much for your lovely feedback! I really appreciate it ❤️ and glad you find it useful. Yes the count down is on - dreaded report writing time now haha. Thanks for your continued support! 🤓
This learning support team is a great idea. In middle school, when a student has issues, we do a personalised accompanying project. There aren't that much suggestions, we've got a list of things to do and not to do, but that's it. It seems less organized than your system. Parents often don't want to put their child in a specialised school. It's a shame for them and a pity for the child. :(
A happy teacher - A true story oh wow thats a shame you dont have that network of teachers to support you. In our public schools (in NSW) we all have learning support teams. They are all different depending on the school. And of course some might be better than others. I'd be happy to share resources with you anytime Nic ❤️🤓
Thank you. In our teams, you have no teachers at all. Just doctors/speech language pathologists/nurses and that's it. This is something we should take from you.
my son will be starting special support in September he is going on 8 im worried about how to tell him without making him fell any less then the other kids his cognitive thinking and talking is on par actually far beyond normal he struggles in his prossessing time and with his reading n righting we are starting a specialized approach for September i just fear him feeling left out from his peers and feeling like hes being told he cant do it hes a very.smart boy just needs a bit of extra help to understand some questions

Do you mind sharing some experience about how you/ your team work with students with SEN case by case?
