    Genuinely so interesting to watch. The 4s will be 10 years old in September - how mad is that!

    I am impressed that a phone with that much damage still (mostly) worked. Also clever use of the ice cube tray to hold all of the tiny parts.

    Excellent work!! I like the attention you give to all details (wipes dust on screen at the end lol).

    Good work! The iPhone 4 is still the best looking mobile phone in my opinion. The design, the size, I loved it.

    I watched the entire video and taking that thing apart... then thoroughly cleaning it.... then putting back together it must of taken forever.

      I had a lot of these parts that I had left over from a repair business. They were bought from ETradeSupply, years ago.

    IPA would damage the lenses? How?

    • @RestoreTechnique
      @RestoreTechnique  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Camera lenses often have a coating on them, which is erased with alcohol or a solvent.
      _"The one used to reduce flare and ghosts is called coating technology. A thin coating is vacuum deposited onto the surface of the lens to reduce the amount of light that reflects off the lens surface or inside the lens, and to increase the amount of light passing through the lens. ... These lenses produce clear images."_

    does the iPhone 4 have 4G? or only 3G

    • @RestoreTechnique

      Only 3G. It was the iPhone 5 that Apple first had 4G.

    • @ibmpc
      @ibmpc ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nelsondog100 a downgrade to iOS 6 would improve your iPhone 4, yes. However you’ll need a computer and a program called iPhone4Down by LukeZGD. It runs on Linux and MacOS. Hope I helped! :)
