Thanks 🙏 for this. 💡 moment on two things. 1- I’m focused way to much on getting up the hill before completing my turn. This meaning I do neither well. 2- I’m opening the throttle way to soon. A little pause after the turn and then RSG should see me cleaning those sections. Brilliant video, that little detail, again making all the difference!
I was at a class a few weekends ago and they didn't like me squatting in the turns at all, said I was overusing it for turns that weren't that tight and I should save it for when I really need it. But after practicing the squat so much I feel just way more comfortable with the lower CoG and the bend in the knees is easier to move the hips to the outside. I am currently struggling on something similar - however there is an obstacle in the middle of the hillclimb. So tight turn into a hill climb and then up and over a rock ledge on the hill climb a few bike lengths from the turn. I haven't made it yet but will use some of what you taught here to maybe help get round the turn with more confidence, apply the power so I get up and over the rollup ledge without too much wheelspin or wheelies/flipping over backwards.
Seems similar to what I worked on towards the end. I have a 2-3 foot rock ledge there on left side as you look down. Key for me was getting good RPM build up and letting out clutch a good bike legth back and de-weighting up and over. I was spinning on slick rock ledge till I got more juice on bottom BEFORE the obstacle. Good luck 👌 As fast as too much squat, I think it all depends on what you're comfortable with. In a year's time, we'll probably be squatting less on same type of turns bc we'll get lazy and over all better at them. 🤷
@@TrialsProgression That's very helpful, thank you. I think I really need to practice getting the RPMs up and the clutch feeding out nicely to maintain traction.
your videos are outstanding - you help me more than any pro
Hey thanks Chris 😀 that comment will keep me going for a while. 😉

@@fprintf yes. And standing up as you do to weight the pegs helps with traction as well.
Thanks!
