I'm completely with you on the joy of new home appliances - I just got a dehumidifier for our laundry room and it is game changing, the clothes dry so much quicker (I hang up our laundry on a ceiling pulley rather than use a tumble drier as 1) too expensive and 2) I feel it's often too harsh on our clothes). I also recently got a Shark hydrovac which vacuums and washes hard floors (and low pile mats) at the same time - amazing!

Thank you so much for enlightening me on that and one time I went to speak in Milwaukee at a conference in November at HIA when I got on the plane it was 80°. I got to Milwaukee and it was 10°. What different and temperaturebut I spoke at the conference. I was happy to get back on the plane and come back to Pennsylvania my husband and my two children having an awesome day.
Long winter evenings……I curl up with a good book or podcast or Utube and there I sit, under my blanket by the pellet stove fire and watch the snow accumulate on the back deck! I live in Alaska so I have lots of practice!

All of my uncles that are still living are above 70 now, so that just hit me when you said you can't believe you have an uncle who is 70. I LOVE that your youth group friends still meet up. That is so amazing. How big is the group of ladies? That's really beautiful! One of my best friends is one I met at youth group 25 years ago next week, but she moved to Chicago years ago now, but we talk regularly. :: sigh :: Oh wow, that is a very big Whole Foods. I thought the one near me was pretty big. Very cool. The soap they sell is what I use at home. Your flowers are lovely. Great arrangement. That is awful about the mold though.

It's interesting that you mention that it's wrong that 'traditions' in Churches can be given the same weight as the Bible when you belong to Church that would deny membership to a believer because he or she doesn't follow something as 'secondary' as say head-coverings. Surely membership should only be based on whether someone believes in Jesus or not? The Church shouldn't be some sort of 'club' which dictates a pile of other. conditions before someone can join. You know that Confucius also defined happiness as 'something to do, something to look forward to and someone (or something) to love.

I really don't understand why you always seem to be moaning. Life's hard for everyone, even though some people say it's not. My dad was 12 when I died, my mum was widowed with 7 extremely young children, and yet not once did I ever hear her saying life's hard ,woe is me like you do.
I don’t think she was moaning….i think she was trying to acknowledge that it is hard taking cara kids alone, and that her husband helps her a lot. She’s being relatable, I don’t want her to pretend that being a SAHM is easy. Should she not have mentioned that her husband was gone for the weekend and that she had to do everything herself?

There is two sides to every coin. I try to be honest in both directions. But what one person hears as me being thankful for my blessings, someone else may hear me bragging about my amazing life. When I share the raw real unlovely parts someone may hear me being honest and real, and another may see it as whining and complaining and ungrateful. So I just try to share sincerely and hope it hits the right people. I want to always provide encouragement and companionship here on TH-cam.
