Those are HIGHLY valued as desired collection pieces. People will take those plywood boxes and spend the grand or so to reset the neck, that’s how much the cult-following worships those guitars. I inherited one. Couldn’t believe it was laminate. Sounds as close to a legit d-18 as I ever heard.
