Departure and arrival entry is on the INIT page of the FMC. You'll need to clear the scratch pad before you can enter it.
And remember to set flaps for takeoff!
Great tutorial! I as a beginner can confirm this is a great tutorial to starting the A310-300!
Very good tutorial, struggled following others but this one keeps it simple and easy to follow.
For those who have dark displays on the BuildINI A310 and find these steps won't work, this plane requires an AVX compatible CPU. If you don't have a modern CPU you won't be able to use this plane until you upgrade your chipset. I'm running an i7 980x, which lacks AVX instructions. Had a great run with this CPU, but I finally hit a piece of software that is inducing an upgrade. Time to build something new.

Great tutorial, straight to the point. One odd thing I noticed after following this tutorial to a T, I cant input V2 speed (140). It just stays blank no matter what speed I input.

You missed the step where you need to open the Engine #1/#2 fuel valves behind the throttle.
I have hardware switches - they were probably already in the correct position by default. I didn’t leave anything out of the video - everything I did is included.
Hi just a quick issue that i discovered when starting the plane up, im new to this so im not sure if im missing a step. I followed all steps and the altitude indicator at the front of the cockpit shows a black screen and says gps primary loss, just wondering if i could have some help.
IRS isn’t aligned. That’s the 3 switches at the top of the overhead panel, and departure / destination + ALIGN IRS on the INIT page. Also the align time can be adjusted to suit in the EFB. All shown in the video 👍

Can u change ur camera to the over head panel and stuff on Xbox or is that a pc thing
You can move and set camera presets on Xbox. Not sure what the controls are but it’ll be in an online manual.
Hello i have an issue on the a310 and a320 v2 where when i start the left engine the n1 goes to about 10 then drops back down to 1 then back to 10 and back down and so on, do you know any reason for this?
edit: wtf? i fixed it by switching the apu bleed on and off

How do you set it so the plane is ready for a cold and dark start? Everytime I choose a plane and location, and weather, there is no option for cold and dark start. And when I press the "fly" button, all the instruments are already on. What am I missing?

How can I turn pitch trim 1 and 2 on Xbox ?
Check the control options, you can assign it

@@mikaelstix7721 Before you can enable PITCH TRIM, you first need to enter an origin and destination. On the FMS, type in the origin airport code followed by a slash (/) and then the destination airport code, then press the button the the top right of the FMS screen. The "ALIGN IRS" prompt should appear next the button, third from the top on the right of the FMS screen; press it. Finally, attempt to enable PITCH TRIM.

For some reason my irs keeps going to align mode
