This is a video of me showing you how to replace the toner cartridge in an HP LaserJet printer. It is an extremely simple process, and I walk you through each of the steps in this video. The specific model that I used for this video was an HP LaserJet P1102w.

The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.

Great video! One suggestion, you forgot to mention the little Orange/Pink tab on the new cartridge, you have to pull that and the little plastic film comes out!

Thanks - I was having trouble inserting a remanufactured cartridge. Turns out one of the little tabs was missing. I had 3 others in the box and the second one was good. I guess I got what I paid for. :)

On my new cartridge, there's an orange pull-tab attached to a protective strip of plastic. I assumed it should be removed and I did. It is not mentioned in your video. Probably ought to.

Norm Goldblatt i couldn't remove the orange pull tab....so i just cut it half...now my printer is not printing anything....is that (halfly cut orange pull tab) , the reason for that?

I bet it is. Get a pair of pliers and grab onto what's remaining of the tab and pull. Out will come the attached protecive strip. It's fun AND nutritious. And I'm betting the printer will print.

I changed my cartridge many times. The orange light is flashing, I've replaced and put the new one in, but the orange light is still flashing. I tried resetting the printer, turned it off and on again and still not working. Not sure what else to do!

The only detail missing ... Grab the orange tab on the side of the replacement and pull it all the way out before placing the replacement into the printer.
