I wonder if the 10 of swords in the Teddy Bear Tarot would be better if, rather than red blood, it was depicted as white cotton stuffing coming out instead. If I owned the deck, I’d be tempted to modify that card in that way.
Lisa, I this series is so much fun. I had to laugh at your comment on the Witches Wisdom deck about tapping your crone energy - you are so far from that stage in life! But I agree, this is a great deck for those of us who are old enough to be looking back. I'm 76, and have no problem with the unusual order of this deck. I don't get hung up on decks that aren't traditional, I just read them as the creator intended, without trying the match the cards to the usual order. (Same with renamed or re- ordered court cards.) I do love Witches Wisdom.
😂 It's probably less an age thing for me and more that I am going through menopause and my kids are in their 30s. It's just that I feel that energy more closely matches where I am at right now.. hehe.
I think for the Teddy Bear Tarot, it might be the one instance that I'd consider pulling a card out of the deck. I know, I know, the Tarot system... But I honestly think you'd get the message of the 10 of Swords in another way if that card was pulled out. I never thought I'd consider removing a card from a Tarot, but I would consider it in this case. Maybe try removing rhe 10 of Swords and try some readings with it and see how it goes?
I lost 2 cards once without knowing it, never missed them, had clear and accurate messages all the time. When I found those cards behind a shelf during spring cleaning, I was beyond confused...but it taught me, that a deck missing a card or two is still usable.
@Lisa_Papez I probably would do the same... 😁 I can pull cards from an Oracle deck if I need to, but can't really pull cards from a Tarot deck. Just figured I'd suggest it. 🥰
No need for FOMO! I will have copies available after the Kickstarter available. The Kickstarter includes special pricing and extra perks but you shouldn't miss out entirely if this isn't a good time for you! ❤
Teddy Bear Tarot - ik it’s out of print but I think you should really try painting over the blood with acrylic paint! Cover up the blood, make it more soft and gentle for you. It seems like you really love it, so it could be worthwhile to make it usable. But you also do have an almost endless amount of decks, so since you can’t love it with that 10 of swords, I feel like you should just rehome it. I’m in the camp of don’t keep stuff if it’s not an absolute 100% love.
With the Candle in the Cave tarot it will probably not be available again. The artist and the guidebook author had a fairly big public falling out on Instagram. It's too bad because it is so pretty!
As I get older, I find I am drawn to the very sweet decks, the Unicorn decks, the Happy Tarot, Gummy Bear, etc, but I am also drawn to the dark decks, Vertigo, Ritual Abuse, Deviant Moon, etc. Most of my newer decks fall into these 2 categories. I love my Buffy deck and my GoT decks. I also have some Lord of the Rings decks that are great. I thought that the nerdy decks were so fun, but then they started coming out so fast that the fun in collecting disappeared for me. I have your deck ordered and I cannot wait to get it. I admire you doing this. I once tried to declutter. For several years now my "decluttered " decks are in a cardboard box under my reading table.
Hi Lisa, I recently bought the TEXTURED Tarot and I think it is different card stock to yours (its flexible🎉) , not linen unfortunately but you can riffle shuffle the deck (i tried for u😊). Although I don't, but I was able too. I love the deck, it's so easy to read, even though I've only been working with tarot just over a year x
I received my copy of the Rainbow Tarot MM and the card stock is a bit different. I think I'm going to trim it... it appears the borders might be even larger... not sure. I enjoy the deck and artwork but it's difficult to shuffle with because of the cardstock and gilding.
For the Holy spectrum tarot a good match I think would be “Oracle of pluto” I was drawn to it at the book store but didn’t get a chance to buy but I did add it to my list! It would be nice to know what your thoughts are on that deck
I assume you have seen the upcoming GOT House of the Dragon tarot deck set to release in Aug? Unfortunately, it is by Insight Editions, so who knows how that will turn out. Hopefully decent but I have my doubts. 😬🙄😆🤞🏻
It's ok to not use the ten of Swords when you use the teddy bear tarot deck. You can leave it out. I think your inner child is rejecting that card because it's not something you need to deal with when you're working with that deck. There are many other messages that would be helpful for you that don't involve the 10 of Swords. Our inner child often does want to say things as black or white, All or nothing. But when you're taking care of your inner child, you are allowed to give yourself the parts that actually nourish you, and if the ten of Swords doesn't do it, you do not have to endure it.

Lisa, can you put a honey pot, shield or blanket sticker over the ten of swords picture to block out the blood?
I put stickers to modify decks. 🍯🛡️😊
Hehe that's a cute idea. But even if I cover it... I'll know it's there 🙈😂
I so want the Teddy Bear Tarot; I wish it was still available for sale.
How in the world do you remember what deck is what and who the artist is. Etc… in the Peggy bags? Your memory astounds me! ❤

My poor purist heart tho 😂😂😂 still... That's a good idea but then I would probably still think about that dang card... Even if it wasn't in there.

Do you think there will be future reprints of your deck? I really do want to get it, but I just can't afford the KS right now 🙈

Beautiful collection 🌻
Oh, hell, the teddy bear 10 of swords! I’m not gonna be able to sleep! That seriously sucked …is there not a substitute card for that?
I've just bought Druidcraft and Wildwood tarot 😊
If you ever sell the wandering teddy bear tarot hit me up. I actually have a teddy bear tattoo. Love them!!!
Some of my all time favs are in this video. Wonderful!
Ooh Wildwood has keywords. Hmm. Reconsidering this deck...

Woah really? Did you buy directly from the creator? I may have to check that out!
@@Lisa_Papez It's 20% off at the moment too 🥰

Hehe I saw that! I haven't watched House of Dragons yet!
@@Lisa_Papez me neither. Lol. I've been slacking.
Hello!😘I'm interested in Candle and the Cave. If you're going to sell let me know!! thanks
Teddy bear tarot - maybe it would help the ten of swords trauma by drawing big puffy pink adorable hearts over each one of those blood blobs? 💖🤔😃
Lol I think it's become a "it's the principle of the thing" thing 😂 Thank you for the suggestion though! 😜
Love all of your decks and all the bags they are in. Thank you so much for sharing! I enjoyed watching
Loving this series. Loved Dani’s too. You guys inspired me to do Spring Cleaning too!
Ooooo, the bag for Game of Thrones....thirsty.😮
The Heavenly Bloom deck has this kind of anime face that I can’t relate to
