That's only five songs out of hundreds of great songs he did. So Al had no choice but to go to Europe to perform because Europeans have incredible good taste in everything. When Kem first came out, I was at a restaurant and they were playing him. One of the patrons referred to him as Al Jarreau's grandson. I quickly educated him on the fact that Kem studied Al but at best was a poor substitute. There was only one Al Jarreau and we were blessed to have been alive at such a time to enjoy his music, his spirit and his love.

Hold up a second. Just noticed that Al wore a hearing aid. Checked closely. It's not an earpiece artists use on stage these days but an actual hearing aid. Totally amazing that he could sing so outstandingly.

I have been to a couple concerts, I've watched countless videos of AL, never did he ever include the song Moonlighting in the set. Can anyone explain why? That track introduced him to the world as far as I'm concerned.

Già nel prologo, min 0:38 - 0:40 presenta la spia di una voce oramai senza un barlume di controllo. Poi, volendo incensarne lo storico di grande nome del jazz, va benissimo, concordo, lo ascoltiamo e viviamo di ricordi.. Ma scene vocali come quella al min 2:31... no, non mi pare un'espressione edificante. Peccato..
