Hi ! good video. Just one question I have is how to remove the latch mechanism shown at 3:30 sec , it was not quite clear. I tried with the screw driver and plastic tool but it didnt pop out and I was afraid of breaking it. Can you add a video to take that latch closely ? Thank you
Last step when installing the new screen, it shows the screen jiggling around, like the mount is very weak and not solid.. And I can see this being an issue when driving that the screen is vibrating around.. Is there a way to make the screen fir more solid and not jiggle around like that? Different more heavier duty mount? Be better if there was a mount that used all 4 original screw holes and made of thicker aluminum to make it a more robust mount, this one seems chaep
Can you do an installation video for newer A Class models? Is it possible to just get the cables through the glove box and radio without uninstalling the dashboard panel and everything else? Seen in other youtubers do this.
Made all the right connections including the fiber optics. But i cant access the factory ntg menu. Car is 2013 s550. I think i damaged the circle plug that connects to the oem screen. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
Hi, you can test the LVDS connector by plugging the original screen in. If it works, the cord is good and it’s likely a setting issue which we can assist with (786) 242-5400 WhatsApp or call. If not, you will need to replace the cable directly with Mercedes.
@accessoriesinternationalin6358 hi, after I couldn't get it to work. I put everything back to factory and the oem infotainment screen didn't come on. I guess when I first took it out I twisted that cable and damaged it. Do you know where the other end of that cable goes to? I might have to find a sclass someone is parting out. Thank you I also have no sound, but I think to get sound I need to access the oem screen.
Hi, after doing more searching. It looks like when I took the factory lvds cable out , I broke the pins off from the oem screen. Now my factory lvds cable has 2 pins stuck inside. Is it possible to replace just the part that's bad? Thank you
I liked the video and used it to guide my install 2016 CLS550. The USB and 3.0MM Cable in the glove box made no sense to me. I could not get any sound, and or backup camera did not work. The screen worked great, and the stock radio would only function in radio mode. After 4 hours of messing around gave up. I got mine through Alibaba and looks identical to your wiring setup just no instal manuals.
@@user-wk1fj8v9lzv it automatically switches to the rear view camera view, and then switches you out back into your previous screen when switching out of reverse.
My 2015 CLS400 NTG5.0 radio is broken, constantly cycling on and off. If I buy this, will it bypass the AUDIO20 radio and allow me to use the new radio you sell? Thanks!
A 1mn49sec we can see a grey flat "button" (it seems it can be turned) on the middle of the top of the glove box : someone can tell me what is this ? THANKS !
GPS will work with car play and your OEM system without plugging in the GPS module. If you want to use the native GPS built into the android screen, such as waze or Google maps, then you will have to plug in the included GPS module.
The gps antenna and 4K antenna where are the suppose to mounted or located? Also give or take how long will it take to do total installation of the dmp screen????
Yes. Can take calls. Some models can reuse their original mic and speakers for calls, others must use the included mic/speaker. We always test phone calls during the install to verify.
@@accessoriesinternationalin6358 nice DMP is helpful but couldn’t find a solution for us with ntg5.0 system besides manually switching. The display had a horrible inbuilt mic so it stopped working and no harness for external. Glad yours worked. Mines never did.

Hey guys, thanks for the vid! Do you have to disconnect the battery in order to do this?
You can disconnect for safety and to avoid blowing fuses, but we recommended testing the screens functions before reassembling the dash.

Did you audio ever come on ?? How did you get it to work
I bet it moves a lot while driving.
Mount is designed for a tight fit and virtually no vibration.
