Why do most every other video and tutorial show them removing the back half/bracket too? The bolts that hold the pump on hold that on too? I'm going to try and do this like you did as I have a loader too and would prefer not to have to remove the front clip and radiator. Seems easy if you can only remove the actual pump without disturbing the bracket's seal to the block.
