Oh god. I just realized today that the default ASMs are infrared, not laser designated. So every time I failed to lock one of the showcase targets, now I know it's because its immobile and has no significant heat signature. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu- Thanks for the knowledge.
If you have a mouse that has forward and back buttons that you normally use for internet browsing, what I did was go into the control settings and bind them to the optics zoom. Really helps when I'm playing as UAV and need to zoom in or out quick to spot infantry or other targets.
and that might be specific to the wipeout system, i'll have to explore the blackfoot and see if they will wire guide. Arma does weird stuff with their weapons, since each aircrafts missles are not treated as a single piece of ammo, but a magazine, so to speak. Example: Pod of 3 Macers =/= x pod of macers on another platform. You could build that into a custom loadout for a vehicle in editor though.
lol i like how he just crashes into a radio tower at the start

How do you put macers on the A10? I only have AGM 65's.
So why do Macers actually lock and cycle with "R" key?
[R[] cycles targets, [T] targets whatever is under reticle.
How do you zoom in with the targeting camera
+ and - on numpad

how can I rebind the turret camera ( Ctrl +right click) ?
under settings > controls > common > Targeting Camera
@@TheDiamoniteG Thank you so much !!!
So you can’t laze for macers
No, they need to lock on to a heat signature, so you'll notice vehicles that are off/cooled off will not lock on, at least in vanilla A3.
