Multi-millionaire Jai Mehta supports many charitable organizations and one day visits a deaf and dumb school, he falls in love with the teacher there, Tia Sharma. He expresses his love to her but she is already engaged with Raj and marries him soon. A heart broken Jai takes to alcohol and one night under the influence of alcohol, Jai's car collide with Raj and Tia's car mysteriously killing Raj and seriously injuring Tia about the head. Tia is treated by doctor, recovers but is unable to remember anything from her troubled past. Jai makes it his responsibility to take care of her, slowly she falls in love with him and proposes marriage. But will this marriage take place or will Tia remember her past and take revenge from Jai?

I can't believe a man such as Jai can go stalk a girl, continue to pursue after she refuses multiple times and force his way into her life, gets drunk and kills her husband in a car crash destroying her family and take over his role as a father and spouse because the girl he wanted so badly lost her memory, was forced to live under him and ended up falling in "love". Are you kidding me!?! No jail time? What is the message here? "If you want someone after they refuse to be with you, break up their family and manipulate them into loving you after they lose their memory" Like whaaa! Honestly, I came to understand this movie more (mainly the characters). Ppl can say Arjun's character is a crazy stalker killer but the way he played it out was more than that. I also use to be angry with Aishwarya character before she lost her memories but the more I think of it, it was much more understandable.
She already had someone she loved dearly yet Jai (Arjun character) kept trying to prove that he is the better candidate. When he finally realized that she was happy, he WAS going to let go and start fresh. But that accident happened with her and killed her husband and left her with amnesia.
He felt guilt. He himself agreed that he was a killer and as much as he still loved Tia, he rather she punished him once she regained her memory (which she never did or maybe sometime in the future). He felt that he didn't deserve her even tho she was falling in love with him and even when her mother finally approved of him. Honestly his character is more down to earth than that. No matter how rich he was, no matter how many ppl were willing to cover up his mess, he knew he will always be responsible for the harm he had done.

Raj was the best husband, great guy. Much respect for Jai too, he never tried to justify his deed even if he had the chance. Sadly, Paresh Rawal's character was badly written, seemed so manipulative and insensible. Nonetheless, lovely movie, very beautiful songs. Really an underrated gem!
I don't think it was badly written. That's how people usually are. A mix of good and bad. Yes, his tactics were technically manipulation. But his intentions were not for his personal gain. I actually like his character because it was kind of realistic.

He caused amenesia to the other girl he pursued and took the child’s father away.. very sad to me. Bollywood busy creating Lornatdo the caprio of romeo to perform romantic movies so that they can sink love down the drain like titanic …. Every romeo ends up married 3-6 times ….. unstable relationship…. And a dead society full of dead people …. Love is dead … emotions are dying …. And actors N actresses kill it even more day by day ….. RIP society …. Stay single if u wanna b happy … don’t commit into relationships…. They will end up fake like Bollywood 2023 movies

I watch this movie over and over again only to remember the moments we had back then. The story of the movies were good, the songs were out of the world. No rap, no remix, no item song. The lyrics of the songs were so beautiful and soothing. I still remember all the lyrics. Nowadays, the movies become so commercial like comedies are not anymore comedies, romantic moments are limited only in physical closeness, the lyrics of the songs are idiotic. The music itself are not worthy to listen. I miss those era of fantastic movies. It has passed I think. Only options to relieve those moments.
And u forget one no kissing scene and no bold scence
