PS, if you're moving heavy furniture on carpeting, you can slip any extra chopping mat pieces under each of the 4 corners and move the thing all by yourself! ;-) Course it might bend part of your chopping mat piece, but it's nice to DIY when you want to.

I finally picked up the Dollar Tree chopping mats. I made my covers and now i need to pick up more for other projects 😊 thank you for sharing such wonderful ideas!
Here are two suggestions that you might try for adding that vintage/dirtied up look that u mentioned. Look around in the ""art section" at the craft store ...for "charcoal pencils", and "art chalks" they are great for smudging up some paper! I have good results using small amounts on paper and smudging well with my fingers. ( these "art supplies" can be a lil pricey, but with your sale/coupon savviness-no worries :) Happy experimenting :))
You have given me so many ideas. And though our styles differ in some areas it still flows though and gives me a better idea of what I want and need. For me I need clean lines. If I don't have clean lines then it looks and feels chaotic to me. Which in turn makes my brain chaotic. What works for one may not work for someone else but it is through watching different things, even things that won't work for ourselves, that one realizes what really works for us. So for the bashers out there don't bash, instead learn from it what you need and what your style is.

I just love those planner covers they look so chic. I just got the same undated Happy Planner last week in a kit with stickers, magnets, and sticky notes for $15 on sale at Michaels! I am so excited, I never thought I could afford a Happy Planner but I waited for a sale and found this. Your videos are awesome. I got some of the pretty bands from Dollar Tree to hold it together. I really enjoy your style and creativity...if people don't like it then they can a,ways move on, but there is always something one can take from another's artistry and implement into their own creativity and make it their own. People need to get over themselves. I scraplift a lot of ideas a lot and am not afraid to admit it. I literally can't draw a stick figure without AutoCad lol. What I do ends up mine and nobody else ever really cares to see in the end anyways so keep your head up and doing what you do.

Hi Paloma, I love the way you have evolved in the way you plan! Planning is such a personal thing...it's a matter of preference. There isn't a one-size fits all. So, I am glad you have found your happy place in planning. As for me, it's still a work in progress. have you tried the Big HP? I started with that because it gives me so much space to write. It's good if you want to keep it at home because it is huge to carry everywhere with you. I use it now as my memory keeper/scrapbook. It's the only thing that I decorate these days when I want to be creative...lol. I have my Travelers Notebook for my personal and recently I made a simple bullet journal for my work using DT materials. Thanks for inspiring us all. Actually, you have inspired me to make my own covers. I don't know why others would accuse you about copying your original idea using the clear plastic chopping pad from DT. When I first saw it, I thought it was genius! That's the problem with those doing their videos, they do not give credit to where credit is due. They have to call out and link to the ones that inspired them. Enough of my babble lol...anyway, thanks again and have a merry holiday and may your 2017 be as fruitful as 2016 ! Hugs :)
