So what makes this area special that I would want to be there in the first place? They are beautiful homes and the beachfront is great. Doesn't make me want to live/own there. The last place will loose that view in a year based on construction you showed. Plus, fewer and fewer people care about golf or want to live in a golf course community.

And as a retiree, why do I need such a huge house? And stairs…? As I age, I don’t want to have to walk up and down stairs.

Gotta say 499k is not considered affordable for most people. You might as well stay in the US for that price. Show some realistically affordable places, please.

Wherever Americans go, prices rise. If you want live in Mexico DON'T live where Americans are living and driving up prices. It happens all over the world.

So you think you can get a property in the US on descent beach not the swamps of Myrtle beach for less ? I live on the Gulf coast of FL you could not get those types of properties here for less than 800K that is even with all the HOA situations now …. and Cali ??? 🤣 you get a closet for that money

I visited Loreto last year. I went to check out the real estate options with the hope of maybe retiring there. I loved it very much. However, the lack of acceptable medical infrastructure, although not an issue for me currently, and other available services convinced me to look elsewhere. I chose Bucerias on the mainland, and it was a better fit for me

So many more affordable places in Europe that absolutely beat this, much safer, cheap flights all around, awesome healthcare, walkable, coffee shop culture, fresh foods and markets abound. I cannot imagine living in some golf community in Mexico and ironically, I got married in Mexico in Riviera Maya but would never want to live there. I can buy right now a 2/2 in Flagler beach area, FL for the same price as your 2/2 Mexico property. I would understand moving there if one is an avid deep sea diver and loves the Sea of Cortez- that is the aquarium of the world.

The Mantaraya location is great. We spent a week at the Villa del Palmar last October. Danzante Bay is just beautiful. I got to play a round of golf too.

Irritating music. The problem with Loreto bay is no garages/storage for boat etc.

How much is the beach front property? I think that was the only one you did not give a price on? Beautiful area.

what is the incentive to move here? It’s not affordable. This is disgraceful, we export our American gluttony to these beautiful places.

It's desert. Look at the 10 day forecast..all over 95 F. Where do they get their water? Mexico has problems with infrastructure such as water and elec. Also, you cannot own the property there without a bank trust. It's against the Mexican constitution. The bank holds the title in what is called a Fideicomiso. That will cost you approx $600 a year and the price goes up yearly. They must import their food from the mainland making it more expensive. What they do have there are good clams and seafood. But that's about it. If you have unlimited cash, it might work for you. Good luck

I live in La Paz at #paraisodelmar. Best decision I ever made. We have a desalination plant, great healthcare, tons of fresh food and fish, restaraunts and the peace of island living…,
