I loved Jeff Chapman with Kingdom Heirs, but what a great addition to Gold City. This is one of my all-time favorite songs of Gold City. It truly had the same sound as when Tim Reilly and Jay Parrack were with them, and I mean that as a great compliment.
Sean, I've always thought your dad was a phenomenal bass singer. I think his best years are ahead now that he's with Gold City. He's a perfect fit to continue Tim's legacy!
I would love to hear your Dad sing, I want to Walk with my Lord, Let's see if they can bring back some of those older songs that featured Bass and Tenor, there's so many to pick from I've spent all week going through my Albums and older cassettes and even CDs to hear that original sound. So excited I can't wait 💕💕🙏🙏
This group of four is the closest I've heard Gold City to the four that were tearing it up in the late 90's. (Tim Riley, Mary Trammel Jay Parrack and Jonathan Wilburn). Gold City has still been solid through the years, but that group way back when could arguably be the best of all time. The fact that these four are even making me think of that group says a lot. Jenkins is so underrated. Bruce and Daniel are solid. And now you throw in Jeff Chapman (from my favorite group the Kingdom Heirs), and I'm just thoroughly enjoying these new videos I'm finding on TH-cam of the group. God is doing something special with Gold City right now....Looking forward to this new journey this group is going to take us on.
Please stay together guys. No more hopping over to another group. As a Jamaica who loves Southern gospel, this brings joy to my heart. Best Tenor, best bass imo anyway. Good be praised.
This is already my favorite lineup of Gold City since Jay Parrack, Tim Riley and Mark Trammell were in the group! I hope they stay together for a long time!
@@thecurtisfamily3810 Thats the unfortunate situation most likely. This music just isn't as popular as it once was, and I'm sure that takes a toll on paying the bills. Hope they can figure it out and be successful though because this is one of the best lineups in southern gospel right now
I have always said Jeff Chapman was the man to fill the Bass vocalists position with Gold City quartet, when Tim Riley retired back in 2014 I think your dad does an awesome job at what he does for lord and savior.
Yes Sir, This quartet is the best it's been in a long time. Now please continue recording them and posting it. You're fixing to become the #1 place to come see Gold City Qt.
@@vitormrmr just my opinion of course, but if you look at a lot of the really successful groups, you have to keep in mind these guys are entertainers in a way. Sure they’re doing ministry, singing etc… but the groups who are successful are great entertainers. Tim Riley was really expressive, had a good presence on stage, kind of funny in some ways. Jay was entertaining, huge vocal range, high energy, interesting guy to hear talk, but a great stage presence they make each other better because they just work well together. Oak Ridge Boys- greaaaaat southern gospel group. They do a lot of country music and stuff and not so much gospel anymore, but look at them. They’re a ultra successful group, hugely entertaining, they’re all independent “characters” almost that bring something to the group that makes the whole group entertaining and unique. That’s part of the “recipe for success”. This lineup has a good chance at being very popular to me because of some of these reasons.
This is one of my favorite Gold City songs and your dad sounded FANTASTIC! Nice to see he is with Gold City full time now as a replacement for Chris West. I hope you keep the Gold City videos coming.

Wow! This is old Gold City! Jeff sounds awesome with them and nearly identical to Tim!
