This video clearly shows how hard work acting is and how extremely rare is a talent like DiCaprio. They just say "action" and you have to switch off reality and get yourself into a story that does not exist yet, you are creating it now. Incredible.
I agree with you on that Dicaprio is a very talented actor. I think one of the best and his acting is so outstanding. Every role he had is so convincing and believable, but every movie every show everyone has to function like that
Justin. You know I feel like all the dirty stuff in any is movie not talked about I think shooting is not allowed do you have any idea why? tell me.if you know bro
what do you mean the time wasn’t ready for it lmao The movie was extremely well appreciated and it clashed with the time people had just gotten comfortable with the internet. Meme culture, movie reviews and essays and blogs were all on a good state. The movie couldn’t have come out in a better time
@sfairraid 13 that's not true, 12 years a slave is also a fantastic movie, much more challenging viewing which is sometimes the point of art, Wolf epic popcorn
Leo looked pissed at Renee @. That's Renée Foley Burke I think the script supervisor or Richard Baratta the production manager. Looks like they just finished a scene and Renee informed Leo none of the shots worked so need to do retakes of a 7 minute scene 3 more times. Leo and Johnny Depp do not like to do retakes. They like to work with directors who tend to get it on the first try. To the credit of Leo and Johnny Depp, they are so good at their craft they don't mess up very often. So it's rare to have bloopers of them on DVD, probably comes with the fact that Johnny and Depp have been doing it since childhood, it's almost ingrained in them to perfect the lines before shooting. Less retakes means faster turnaround which makes the movie cheaper to make and less likely of overbudgeting. Remember a movie takes 200+ staff to 3,310 people in the case of IronMan 3 and 40-60 scenes to complete. If someone messes up a scene once. It basically compounds 5 minutes into 5 minute x 200 to 3000 times. That's days of paychecks extra you have to employ the actors, staff and catering and throwback release date. That's why they only work in certain movies with certain directors.
Watch the extras at the front trying to subtly jostle for light without compromising the scene. Each of them has a one bedroom or shared in LA, counting out their 20s until they return home to tell Ma and Pa that they couldn't make it work. The quiet desperation, the hot fear behind their controlled movements is palpable.
FYI: The word B-roll is used to denominate a camera as secondary to Camera A. Camera B is mostly exploited as backup, secondary, supplement shots that may or may not be used. What we see in the video is Behind-the-scenes, often filmed as a documentary, it serves the purpose to document what that is happening in the set during shoots.
damn this reminds me how professional the actors are lol. they be like toy figures waiting for their scripts ahah. so discliplined. its surreal to see the making of it
Behind the scenes like these always make me remember how much actors like this are so often self-centered sociopaths, to do this sort of job at this level
Why does TH-cam have the release date of films 1 year ahead of when it was actually released. Says Wolf of Wall Street was released in 2014 when it was 2013. It’s not just this film it’s for all films they have the release date 1 year ahead on the rent or buy page. 🤔

Behind the scenes just looks like “The Office” TV show 😂
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT TOO
Imagine the office filmed at Stratton oakmont lmao
@@baerschuman111*Scranton Oakmont
Exactly what I just said
Came here to say the same thing!!!
I love seeing how freakin happy being on this set ,makes Jonah Hill, you can really see his passion for filmmaking
goodcat1982 he got paid 50k compared to Leo’s 25 million.
WafcPassion I believe that was because Jonah wanted to be in a Scorsese film so bad he was willing to work for as little as possible
Doesn't take much for you huh
And he was only paid $5 for this film. And a bag of coke.
2 Cor 4:4, repent. Heil GOD
I wish they showed some Behind the Scenes footage of the plane.
Justin. You know I feel like all the dirty stuff in any is movie not talked about I think shooting is not allowed do you have any idea why? tell me.if you know bro

I'm sure there's a youtube video for that somewhere here.

Not really

Hi
@MUFC all I heard was blah blah blah I wanna go down on a soccer ball ...
He's actually already in character, he's a method-actor.
This movie is so epic the time wasn't yet ready for it.
It wouldn't have mattered when it was released, nobody would be ready for it.
what do you mean the time wasn’t ready for it lmao

Jonah Hill looks so happy on set, watching this knowing how much he adores Martin Scorsese is very heartwarming
martin literally directed some of the best movies in cinema, casino goodfellas wolf of wall street etc. legendary

He's a cool dude, but not particulary 'chill'... Quite passionate actually

It's incredible. He's 0 to 100 immediately.
Surprised this movie didn't win any of its nominations at the oscars
Nathan B if it wasn’t up against 12 years a slave for best adapted screenplay, it definitely would have won
Oscars stealers club was there too
Scorsese rarely wins Oscars, took him until 2007 to personally win one. His films generally get more appreciated with age

They were too busy snorting coke.
Leo is probably the best actor of all time. Such dedication and professionalism.
Leo really put his ass to work in this one. Since the Departed (2007) I finally recognized his greatness as an actor. Great job!

Martin Scorsese being laid back and laughing is something I didn’t know I would enjoy as much as I did
Being on set for this film seemed so fun!
1:07 - Leo was method acting "I've just won an Oscar and they all found out"
fuck this would've been so much fun to make.
Ok so the office party scene really was as fun as it looked
It's so cool how everyone in the background starts moving once the camera is rolling
It's so cool to see the directors actually direct. Scorsese is a genius.
this is so awesome. love how movies are made. requires such time and precise. love it
Baffling how he didn’t win the Oscar for this performance
How leonardo did not recieve an Oscar for this movie is still a mystery to me

It's a shame how there is none with Margot :(
Love how chill Marty is on set
Imagine how awesome getting an extended cut of this Film would be
The only video on TH-cam featuring 6 mins of Wolf of Wall Street...without cursing
This is the movie in which Leo deserved his first Oscar. Although Inception is still my favorite!
I love how it feels like Leo’s just so handsome and natural that he really doesn’t have to do anything
B roll is so cool. Makes it look like it's work not just magic
No wonder why the movie was fun, they were all having fun while filming it.
this b-roll is tasty
Leo is the only guy who can make nervousness really nervous.
Leo deserved an Oscar for this movie
That movie was a work of art
Being an extra in this film must've been so much fun
3:34 the guy on the bottom left hand corner is totally getting his moneys worth.
I'll never stop watching this movie, it's so good
Look at Jonah he’s so HAPPY 😁
What's with that reaction of Leo, on the guy that was in front of him at 2:28 ?
7 yrs ago I was 16 when this came out and remembering watching it in high school on my mac book
Leo is just great. Action and he instantly goes into it..
I've done a hand full of movies and have learned alot watching A listers get into character and their habits. Movie making is absolutely amazing.
You absolutely deserved the Oscar

How unexciting is reality compared to the movie
Que buena peli, y el Leo un genio de la actuación. Deberia ganar todos los Oscar
