I am in total agreement with the soundtrack being epic. Every song is perfectly in sync with each feeling the characters go through. I especially loved the song that played while Belly was driving in her car reminiscing about each place she and Conrad had been to. Season 1 was amazing. i am only on episode 3 of season 2 and can honestly say that it's even better ..
As a 34 year old female, I can honestly say I've never been so moved by a movie in the same way that I've been moved by this series. This is completely down to the fact that the acting is amazing and you can really feel the raw emotion from the characters. From the very first episode I was hooked! Like many fans of the show who keep going back and forth between Jer and Conrad, I've been the same. I see her with Jer and how he treats her and I think yes, he's her guy, but then when I see these two alone connecting it's something different. I've now realized why that is. When you're really in love with someone it is something bigger than even the both of you understands. This kind of love is fated, so no matter how many things pull you away from that person, you'll keep been drawn back together. Their love needs no words because it is in every silent look.

In our case, it took 7 yrs. Until we ran into each other at a Blink-182 concert (1,500 miles from our hometown). In a stadium of 70K people, we happened to go to the same beer stand at the same time. I suddenly heard my favorite Beer being shouted from the back of the line as I was about to order. Then "First Date" started playing, so he added,"and I'll have another one of these, please!” 😂 Long story short, we got married 2 years later. And "First Date" by Blink-182 was our wedding ceremony outro song (the one that starts playing after you say "I Do" and walk back up the aisle to, hand in hand…jamming 🤟🏻). Haven’t watched this show, but so many have told me to. Because this Conrad is a spitting image of my husband at that age. Kind of shocking. He still looks pretty much the same now, at 33, but with a big boy haircut haha.

The biggest difference between Belly with Conrad vs Jere is that Belly LOVES Jere - like a best friend you have fun with… But Belly is IN LOVE with Conrad. There’s a huge difference between LOVING someone, and being IN LOVE with someone. Jere is such a good guy, but being with an extrovert & someone who loves constant attention from both females & males, isn’t easy - especially when Belly is the opposite of that. Conrad’s overall personality is more suitable for Belly. His thoughtfulness (for example: the infinity necklace), and depth of character is more important to Belly than anything. She feels things deeply, the same as Conrad, whereas Jere appears a bit like a flake sometimes. I also feel like until Jere saw Conrad & Belly almost kissing until he stopped it with a fire cracker, that he suddenly became more interested in Belly than before - he seemed content with them being best friends until then. Then immediately afterwards he tried to take things further, almost like it was a competition between him & Conrad. Conrad saw Belly in a romantic way from years ago. It’s just been awful timing. I’m sure this is heartbreaking/wonderful/touching but all I can focus on is how stupid the nickname “Belly” is. Every time I see one of these clips I always imagine she has the name of an 52 year old white man instead. Someone who has high blood pressure, two mortgages and a wife that hates him. Conrad’s overall personality is more suitable for Belly. His thoughtfulness (for example: the infinity necklace), and depth of character is more important to Belly than anything. She feels things deeply, the same as Conrad, whereas Jere appears a bit like a flake sometimes. I also feel like until Jere saw Conrad & Belly almost kissing until he stopped it with a fire cracker, that he suddenly became more interested in Belly than before - he seemed content with them being best friends until then. Then immediately afterwards he tried to take things further, almost like it was a competition between him & Conrad. Conrad saw Belly in a romantic way from years ago. It’s just been awful timing. He’s had to carry all the burden for so long he’s fragile mentally, so it’s like “right person, wrong time”. Looking forward to the next two seasons! 🤗❤️
I think it’d be interesting if they had Jeremiah and Taylor get together in the series. There’s something there she’s definitely crushing on him. Ready for season 2 for sure

shut up, she is growing up. She was with Cam because he makes her happy and thought Cornard wont look at her. She wanted to do something new this summer. but then she did relaize that sam cam was not good for her even after telling Conroad that she broked up. She had grown up and decided she would not miss cornard anymore and go for someone who is better. Jeremiah is actually nice to her this whole summer. yes cornard is also nice he was going through alot. but he pushed her away so belly moved on. Jeremaih was there. Then later on it was not belly who went after conrard actually it was cornard who came after belly. since belly did not want him to need her but actually want her. so she is not just like any other girl in his life.

-For cam she liked him and they had a nice thing going but she just didn't feel "fireworks" and thats alright, and she did the right thing by being honest with him and ending it.

I’m sure this is heartbreaking/wonderful/touching but all I can focus on is how stupid the nickname “Belly” is. Every time I see one of these clips I always imagine she has the name of an 52 year old white man instead. Someone who has high blood pressure, two mortgages and a wife that hates him.
