Brian Camp case now contraversial. Missed attackers jacket in the home with knife in pocket. Handcuffs only discovered at autopsy. Cop handling gun used with bare hands. MSP has a serious professionalism & massive trust issue!
Of course some level of stress tests are needed, but this is just ridiculous. It’s like the people in charge are acting out some kind of demented military drill sergeant fantasy. Less hazing and more de-escalation training would do everyone a lot of good.
They think they are training Marines. They need to be training and educating men and women on policing and how to do it civil even if sometimes the public isn't civil towards them. Everyone of us has come across a surly rude arrogant trooper, it's how they are trained. Some are much better with the public but most have a serious us vs them mentality
Right ! They also hire former marines. My sons an officer Usmc & he was told msp is as hard as OCS ?? Really don’t compare ! He even did sear class as a pilot. So not much compares ! Nor should it ! We have tough dangerous jobs be fit mentally & physical but don’t break your recruits.
@@markkimball1569 I think most ex soldiers make terrible police officers. Two different professions completely, most soldiers are trained killers (rightfully so) Police need to know how to control a situation and abide by the constitutional rights of citizens. I am sure ex soldiers can do it if trained properly but when the MSP has a boot camp mentality it obvious why most troopers act like they are soldiers and not cops
@ I agree! Worked around many of them ,I’m a ret Ff Medic Diver& know of a few rouge msp troopers over my 38 yrs .. my kid certainly tells me about his 3rd world experience ! Usmc aviator .. scary to hear ! 🙏🏼 thanks
They should be in schools for training. Half classroom and half in the field. They also need psychology and sociology classes geared towards understanding relationships, learning disabilities, high stress situations., and deescalation. It’s absurd you don’t need that as a cop.
Do you wonder why cops treat people like the enemy & criminals, why they escalate simple situations look at their training. They need more training in the Constitution & basic law. They do not need Navy Seal Training for police work.
Inducing training stress is nothing new. The police and military have done this for hundreds of years. It weeds out people who should find other careers. 13% is not a high fail rate.
This is because they are desperate for candidates and standards have been lowered to rock bottom. We have an academy on the college campus where I work that’s for multiple agencies. The recruits are generally overweight, covered in tattoos, constantly in trouble for using their phones…
@@DianeGallagher-i3l I didn’t implied he fail military boot camp I said he failed outta the msp academy lol but there’s nothing wrong with quitting msp academy it’s a tough academy.
Worked in mass as a medic in some of these area. It’s to make the ones picked be disciplined … almost like the Usmc ocs class .. even to a point seen it in mass fire academy against females. Seen it with a young man & my former wife & a female ff recruit in my class .. it has its pros and cons we all need to train but let’s be fair .. if your not given points -earn the points 🙏🏼🤷🏻
Psychological screening for instructors is critical. Additionally, without good supervision there can be a hazing atmosphere that keeps increasing in severity with every class.
A Mass State Trooper is not a tough job, where did you get that notion? A roofer or fisherman or oil rig worker are more dangerous jobs than being a trooper. its kind of a cushy job being revenue collectors for the State
and then after all of that… they dropped all my charges and gave me a distracted driving charge. which was literally the only thing i was even guilty of in the first damn place.
State Police training is tough, it's supposed to be to weed out weakness. Citizens and Police depend on these recruits graduating to be capable of handling unknown, difficult situations and we should be grateful to have them.
You forgot the most important element of LAW ENFORCEMENT....TRUST The current atmosphere, with so many MSP failures, is not making the taxpayers and citizens feel that they can trust the transparency of the organization!
And still, there is silence. No one seeing a death worthy of coming forward. Get in at all cost seems to be the priority rather than morality. Sad on so many levels. Members see but say nothing. At what point did anyone believe the injuries they witnessed blow after blow was acceptable? Where is the courage? Where is that one recruit who stands up rather than stand down? It could’ve been them!

Cop could work in Delphi and fit right in . 😅
Broken leg, neck bones broken, skull fracture, teeth knocked out, ribs fractured.....some training?
IKR...I know people that have survived SEAL training and not graduated and were in better condition.
Injuries consistent if he was in an MMA ring not a boxing ring with full protection gear on!
All that to write speeding tickets all day
WTF hit him, KING KONG? Or, did someone do something not in the training manual?
Lot of crazy stuff going on in that area I hear lately
RIP Enrique Delgado-Garcia. He was murdered and suffered injuries from a broken neck, teeth, and skull in the state police academy.
Wow that's crazy first time hearing what his injury were diffintley sounds suspicious to me

Police officer and civil servant are in the top ten jobs that attract psycopaths. Sadists are psychopaths.
Of course Hide and deny......
2:44 Wow! Thats staggering! Massachusetts is a mess under Maura Healey's watch!
Sandra Birchmore/John O'Keefe/Karen Read..
Those names ring a bell?

Agree
The military has better safeguards. I do agree that cops are wannabes, and should not be paramilitary.

They'll investigate themselves and find they did nothing wrong.
State police write speeding tickets more than anything.
Justice for Enrique,
🙏
😔 😟 🙁 😥

I believe John Baptiste; and many more who haven't spoken, the "culture" must end.
Justice for Enrique
No more gaslighting MSP

The dropout rate is 35 percent, how’s that bluline boot taste?
Where you get 13%

So basically this kid baptiste couldn’t hack it in the academy it’s pretty much like boot camp it’s not day camp.
Baptiste served in the military and completed military boot camp! Just to set the record straight! Your post implies that he didn't!
What branch, the air force? Dude was weak.

I understand making things tough for recruits...this isnt that.. this is hatred...
I am from CT. However, I have always said these things have to change.
Stress inoculation training is highly effective. However, it’s not supposed to cause serious injury or death. They need to get it together.
Psychological screening for instructors is critical. Additionally, without good supervision there can be a hazing atmosphere that keeps increasing in severity with every class.
Same as US military DIs DSs. Cadre. They require SOF and snipers have psychological evaluations 📂 but not cadre or trainers?
MSP are total wannabe clowns
It was never about training...
It was about HAZING
Great, now the MSP Academy will become woke. The Academy is tough for a reason. It's a tough job.
A Mass State Trooper is not a tough job, where did you get that notion? A roofer or fisherman or oil rig worker are more dangerous jobs than being a trooper. its kind of a cushy job being revenue collectors for the State
Lol ask Uvalde
Woke? A recruit died. He was beaten to death. There’s a line between tough, woke and it should never be mistaken as murder!
#EnriqueDelgadoGarcia 🙏🙏🙏🕊🕯💛⚖️⚖️🇺🇸
💔justice for Enrique 🙏🏼💔
Dangerous authoritarian cult, training oathbreaker order following mercenaries.

If you can't handle stress in a controlled environment how can you handle it in the real world?
This news is connected to a recent death in the academy where a member died from a broken neck, teeth, and brain.
Jean-Baptist is a clown who keeps changing his story. Professional victim.
State Police training is tough, it's supposed to be to weed out weakness. Citizens and Police depend on these recruits graduating to be capable of handling unknown, difficult situations and we should be grateful to have them.

No excuse for this 💩!!!!
These are things police deal with everyday I don't see why it would be bad.
They need to spend time in training self defense, deescelation, boxing, Jiu Jiutsu, Combat, Karate.
All that just for them to ride up and down the highway writing speeding tickets
Basically you want it made easier so more weak cops make it through.
So what I am hearing is.... Todays babies are still getting softer. How about yall man TF up and participate in the training.
All this nonsense to write speeding tickets? Why are traffic cops learning how to box?
Democrats-what could possibly go wrong??
Yawn.... quit complaining...... don't like it, you're not for the job
Seatt😊
Dying or open harassment is old school not acceptable
Why do people do this @01:39 ?
When speaking English, just use Englush pronunciation.
